ok..... your gunna get the pic thing down pretty soon ;) here is the durban

pics still don't do it complete justice..... but you'll get there ;)
Looks good, hope to vape some this evening to try it out for first time..lol Would of liked to have let it go longer but mold was showing up and with the worm damage, recipe for disaster..:cuss:Oh well, there's always next year.
My youngest son has shown interest in going up to the cabin this coming season. It's only a shell as of now but to an 18 year old, I'm sure he'll have no problem roughing it..lol wood stove is in and solar panels (4) plus generator and water pump are there. even have a satellite dish, and that's called roughing it...:wall:
The best thing is that there were no caterpillars there this season, nor last year. With the higher elevation and cooler climate, thinking it would be a great place to grow them purples? Just in the early stage now but I'll let you know how it goes...:leaf:

she is still growing strong here.... slightly lower, but short season as well.... she is one of the most weather resilient strains I have ever seen ;)
Did I hear weather resistant? Does that mean bud rot resistant? I would like to try some of that in 2010 along with my others.

While I cant increase the elevation here I will be doing some different things next year to try and stem the caterpillar damage and bud rot. A little doublejj mixed with Hodegrown hopefully will help. Will discuss furthere when Im up there.

bud rot???? ehehehe :P..... whats bud rot???? lol...... bud gods don't punish me for this blaspheme lol....... 70% humidity for two or three days in a row, overcast days, no rot here :)

Edit: Last year we had pillars come through where we were at.... they stuck to a couple different strains... but never found a single one on the Purple Kush :), or Sensi Star for that matter

they loved the SSDNL, and liked the Sour Diesel, but that was about it........ I think.......

I do like the screenhouse that doublejj had but I'm not sure if it would withstand the winds up north? Really considering doing one here but I do want to spend more time in the R.V next year? :leaf::bigjoint:

Got to vape the Durban last night and again today. The taste is a bit sharp (after) but it's smooth going in. High was good, bit of a couch lock effect but lasted about 2 hours. Given more time to cure the taste should improve? :bigjoint:
So far the Mango is my favorite of this years grow, have yet to try the Nova, Skunk or Purple power.:leaf:

Yea I saw that on your journal, the purple power I got thru Amsterdam seeds was starting to get the purple tint when I had to pull, (worms and mold) but given the time I'm sure she would have purpled up.. I got these seeds from a friend that are suppose to be the real deal purples, so I'm going to try those this season up at my other property..:leaf:

That's interesting that you said it was a bit of a couch lock stoney cause Sativa's such as durban poison are supposed to be the opposite from what ive read..thats why i chose it for my first grow.
