Mushrooms in medium

So I had been overwatering my 5 gallon pots. So I drilled holes all over the side of them. Ther are 6 plants. Were in week 3 of flower. 1000w hps. 65-80 degrees from night to day, humidity level 30-60% medium is viagro potting mix with some grow mulch. Super cheap and not good for weed I know but that's all I had. So I didn't water for 5 days and it got real humid last night. This morning I got tiny white mushrooms escaping from the holes I drilled in the sides of the buckets. I read that this isnt really a bad thing but a sign of healthy soil. But what do you guys think. And does anyone know if these are possibly psilocybin? Thanks all

Never seen anything like that in indoor, outdoor yes.some mushroom spores are beneficial,i use innoculants that works similar to mushrooms spores, outdoor i use to chuck any mushroom growth right away, plants always did fine.micelium is still in the soil, even if you chop the mush off.is the plant ok?showing any simptoms?
What’s your RH like in your growing area?

looks like the micelium has spread alot in that container,it might also suffocates the roots in some casesbut i dont have alot of experience in this specific case, letshope someone else does.

The plants are doing ok. They suffered from a nitrogen deficiency and a bit of overwatering. But seem to be doing fine since I havnt watered them in five days. By rh do you mean humidity? Because last night we had a flash flood and it hadn't rained in months and they popped up this morning. The humidity ranges are around 30 to 60 percent

RH=relative humidity.humidity is fine but with your problem you definately want it on the lower side.
Personally the only thing that worries me is that the micelium might compact the soil to much and suffocate the plant, how the soil looks at the top of the pot?

What i would do is poke some hole in the soil with a pencil to make sure they get plenty of air,it helps with overwatered plants, top half inch of the soil should look nice and fluffy not compact.when you put your finger in the soil to check the moisture, you should be able to get trough the top of the soil easy,if not help to loosen it up,roots will love it.

Yeah I do all of those things. I added to the top layer, fresh soil and worm castings, about a week ago. It's never real compact it just doesn't dry well. The top couple inches are dry now but my soil tester still says its 9.9 any lower so idk. I guess I should wait a couple more days to water. It's been 5 so far. This is the longest I've gone without watering but the plants looked fine to me

So you’re saying that you havent watered in 5 days?and the top soil is still that wet?wow that soil is really crap.the stem also looks pretty small IMO(girth wise)....the day after i water my top soil is dry already...

I wouldnt water for sure but like i said, stick your finger in the soil and soften it up.you want the top soil to be soft.
