Mushroom Growing with my Buds

I have a plant that is roughly about a month old and a mushroom is growing about 2-3 inches from the stem. Has this happened to anyone else and why is there a mushroom growing? I am growing outdoors in FFOF soil if it makes any difference.

if it bruises blue, that would be a trip. .. but probably just a fruit from successful and symbiotic relationship. the un-seen network of the fungi (mycellium) has probably stretched the entire volume of the container. hows the plant doing?

The plant is green and healthy. So is this bad? Will it harm my plant? And you said its probably infested the whole container? So that means even if I remove it more will continue to grow?

i wouldn't think so. again, its probably a symbiotic relationship and fungi is probably feeding off nutrients in the soil that the plant isn't, the waste from the fungi is probably providing nutrients to the plants. i could be wrong, and there could be some competition for nutes, but unless you're seeing a weakening plant, id say the risk of a re-soil isn't worth taking. FFOF, from what i heard is great stuff and it might or might not contain active fungi. idk. the reason i mentioned the mycelium is because.. you must know removing the mushroom or fruit will not remove the fungi. i would hope to bet that your plant is happy in symbiosis with the fungi. it's happening right out in your lawn.

i say let it ride, enjoy the rarity and take a picture.

I just realized there are mushrooms growing in two of my plants not just one and these two plants had/have leaf miners in their leaves. Could this be the cause of it or is this a coincidence?

now we're talking about an insect problem. there is no coincidence. you have a fungus growing and you may have insects. leaf miners are from organisms in the leafs. fungi feed off dead and decaying materials. how old are the plants?

They are one month old. I was going to get Neem Oil to help with the leaf miners will this help with the whole fungi issue?

Sounds like you have two big problems. Besides the insects, you have fungi growing. I'm not sure I would smoke that if you already have buds present. IMO, I would trash them and start over. Scour your grow room, bleach it and go start anew. That's just my 2 cents.

They havent started flowering yet. If this is going to be a problem how can I fix it without starting over?

Don't kill your plants! leave the fungi...kill the bugs...and move on. I'll bet the fungi came in the soil and found a good environment.

Yeah I think im going to leave the mushrooms they dont seem to be hurting my plant. Interesting though that they would be growing there. They seem to grow during the night and die during the day.
