I heard all the strains are actually the same, they just come from different areas and look slightly different and the potency is always the same. I haven't done enough shrooms to say one way or the other.

The ones the mail order site had were Mexican Cubensis. They were in the city today but didn't get delivered. Pisses me off but what ever.

I got that particular piece from Shroomery. Several of the people involved in writing it including this RogerRabbit guy (http://www.mushroomvideos.com/) are professional mycologists. I guess yeah, I am just as likely to trust the opinion of a professional who was schooled and gets paid to do this for a living as my own experience. People who have grown mushrooms many times still get things wrong, or could have done things better.

Not that this motherfucker hasn't been known to be wrong. Even the most experienced growers make mistakes, or could have done some things better. You should be taking a combination of what is already known and your own personal experience.
