Both Dark Rain are looking good.
My Dark Star with the dangling husk didn't straighten up today. Looks shriveled. I don't think it will make it, but no biggie. The first one is showing it's first true leaves.
The 4/20 seed is planted. Bubble Cheese x Purple Rain.

Hey Daniels what kind of veg light are you running? I think I'm going to have to dump my t5's and go with a MH or CMH for my veg, I can't take the wait anymore!

I use a Cfl for the first week or so, then it's a 250W CMH. The Dark Rain moved to the veg table yesterday.

Put my 4/20 seeds in yesterday too. They are an F-1 called Cowboy Chronic. Its genetics are Family Skunk x Headband707 x NL#5. Should be a heavy hitter for sure. I'll get some pics up when they pop.

So things been running pretty smoothly lately and I found myself slacking in the preventive maintenance of my plants. Went down this morning and was giving everything the once over and guess what I find? Spider Mites!:cuss:I bought this last time to treat some house plants I adopted. Worked pretty well and no sign of em till today.

Also have a hot shot pest strip to use if needed. I have been doing this for a year and a half and was wondering when it would be my turn to finally got em. Freaking little bastards.

I too was reminded that gardening requires persistence and patience when I found a bit of bud rot in my flowering plants. EEEK. How far along are your plants into flower?

It's kinda perpetual with them being from 1-4 wks for a total of nine plants. Been focusing on the veg cab and the new youngins and let the flower area get away from me.

thats how I got the PM, focusing on the busy flower cab and left the veggers vegging, then they got to big and blotted out the sun and wind, lol. I need to trim again actually now that I mention it. Good luck getting rid of 'em man, i'm sure you'll get it.

I like azamax for my vegging and early flowering plants. The Hot Shot seems to keep few and far between, but they are bound to pop up a bit from time to time. I hate those fuckers, they make gnats seem like a blessing by comparison.

Ya gotta get better at that "multy" tasking thing again! lol Already seeing a reduction it seems since they were treated earlier. Gotta go back to proactive instead of reactive.

Thanks brother. Looks like I actualy have a nursery in this po-dunk town that sells it. It's funny now thinking about it. I can get the Azamax and can't find a bag of worm crap to save my life. lol

How much did ya pay for the Azamax so I can get an idea what it costs?

A 4 oz should run you 15-25 bucks I think. I like to use SM90 with it as a wetting agent, seems to wipe them out well. I would only use it on early flowering plants and vegging personally though.

It's all good brother. Just one more aspect of growing this plant I need to learn about. The temps stay between 65 and 75 with RH at 35-45%. I wil probably use some neem oil for the older ladies the next treatment and give the younger ones another dose of the Natria which is a sulfur/pyrithrium with the rest being a wetting agent of some sort.

A person would have to have alot of time to multy task just too keep up here!:eyesmoke: Cant wait to see the Darkstars Dan. My nephew is going to grow a couple outdoors this summer. Looking much forward to both grows.
And Byg its going to be interesting to see what the G-13s end up to be. Chas or Chastity! Mabe a mix and match...
Even though the 'Likes' are Facebook like. They do seem to be an easy way to pass kudos without posting a individual post. I for one am going to use this function alot of the time. Someone/question/something in particular promise I will do my best. :?:
Dan you asked me doing a TOD again. You know I dont think I could come up with one everyday. Look around the thread you started. A bunch way past their rookies season. Many in AAA. And, wel you get it. Just look at the response Byg got on his mite problem. Many options and no mis-direction... Happy, Happy Trails.........:bigjoint:

I have high hopes for the Dark Star too, but even more excited for it crossed with Purple Rain. I bet they will be good outdoors for him.
I like the 'like' too. It's hard to come up with different ways to say "look good". Even a TOD, every couple weeks is great. I'm happy so many solid growers are jumping in.

Bygs mites and Dans asking, along with impending spring for most of us, got me thinking. 420 the stoners New Years. What better time to clean our fans.
It doesent matter if it a box fan, dayton blower, vortes, inline, cheap plastic dollar store. They can be the worse(plastic/static/dust)yada, yada, yada. The all have motors and blades, plastic or metal, they all collect crap. Look at the leading edge of you fan blades. It will take a bit more effort with inlines and daytons but I bet you will find some grime. And some of that grime may contain a nit, egg or hoarding whiteflies. Cant forget about those hiding fuckers mold and scale. Bet you get my point. Yet theres more! Clean fans/blades/blowers ect means... More efficiency from your fan. Plus it will run cooler. And you Dayton users dont forget about putting a couple of drops of 20w in the oil holes from time too time...
You hear and I personally talked about fine tuning a garden. Its the 'little things that end up meaning the most':bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:
