Multiple lights.

Im looking at using 3 600w hps lights in a formation like this [] [] [] at about 24 inches from the canopy and im wondering how many feet apart should each 600w be?

four feet one and seven eigths inches.

How ever far you get a good spread across the room hang them turn them on and move accordingly

Hi Nev,
How big is your space? Speculatively...if you spaced them 3' apart in a space 12' long and maybe 4' width coverage. That would give you 48 square feet covered by 1800 watts so the math works out to be 36 watts/sq ft...not bad.

Yeah I think it really comes down to your grow space/grow tent.

I have more space than the lights could cover. Room is 12ft by 8ft or so. Im hoping to cover about a 4 or 5ft wide by 8ft space

You could do 4x8 with only two of those lights...
