Ive often wondered about this. You would definitely need some enzymes to break down the nutrients, its worth a shot!

Good question. No. The binders and what not that make up the pill will rot. Fish oil pills are even worse and really damage your soil.

If you want to use human vitamins, use the kind that come in capsules. These are powder to begin with. Use the highest MG you can find as this will have the least amount of inert ingredients.

Lastely, plants take in different minerals than humans. Eating plant food would be toxic to humans, but plants love them. Giving vitamins could be toxic to your plants either directly or due to secondary issues the introduction to your growing medium causes.

I used to pee in my soil(in veg for nitrogen) when I first started growing... And Iam a bodybuilder who ingests an enormous amount of vitamins, amino's and a few other things... My plants grew LARGE and healthy. :hump:

The trace elements in your undoubtedly sunshine yellow wizz have gone thru some processing. Its much different than putting vitamins straight into the soil. Look at it like a worm casting. You are not going to add uncomposted material to your plants, but after the worms get done, its turned into black gold.

Put some vits in a cup of water and leave it alone for a week or so. Do the same with some PP. See what grows in what.

Just use Superthrive, its a specially formulated vitamin just for plants and will cost about 1/100 of what Reg People vitamins cost. I swear by it. A 1 quart bottle will last you for 10 years or more.

Nice forum... it's funny I'm reading this because about 5 mins ago I was reading about how human urine was proven to be an excellent source of nutes for our girls and thought it was bologna.... lmao..bologna.. but anyways so it would be a good idea to pp in my home made compost instead of wetting it with water to keep it moist? Just wondering?

Nice necro of an 11 year old post. I'd suggest taking a dump in your compost to fertilize it.
