Multi-Strain Medical Grow: Featuring Joey Weed's C99xBlueberry

Welcome all to my very first grow journal!

This is my first attempt to document a grow. It is also my first time using HID lights. I have a few moderately successful CFL/outdoor grows under my belt, but now that I have a good sized closet at my disposal, I figure its time to go indoors and get some really really good medicine. I am limited to six plants(three flowering) as to follow my state's medical marijuana laws.

The setup:

Genetics:
3 Joey Weed Cinderella 99 X Blueberry
1 FEM Dutch Passion Tundra (Passion#1 in Autoflowering Variety)
1 FEM Buddha Seeds Red Dwarf Autoflowering
1 Autoflowering mystery cross

Space:
4'x6' Closet
1000W Hortilux HPS (145,000 lumens/ $.10/hr to run:-()
6'' Inline duct fan, exhausts to attic space

Medium and Nutrients:
-Aurora Innovations Roots Organics Potting Soil
-Aurora Innovations Soul Synthetics Grow
-Aurora Innovations Roots organic Buddha Bloom
-Earth Juice MicroNutrients
-Superthrive(good ol')
-Humboldt Nutrients Mayan MicroZyme

The Plan:
Since I am limited to six plants total, three of which can be mature, I plan to finish the autoflowering plants in a little over two months. Then hopefully I'll find a female I like out of the three C99xBlueberry plants to take 5 clones off and flower the mother while vegging the clones. Eventually I want to get in a rhythm where I harvest three, move three to flowering, and take three more clones off the vegetative plants.

There will be some delay between harvesting and moving vegetative plants to flower. Since I can only legally posses 2 ounces of usable bud at a time I will have to leave harvested plants intact, which count as "mature plants" on my plant count. Thus I will never have more than six plants, or more than three mature plants, or more than two ounces of bud.

I started seeds on the 21st, had sprouts on the 25th, and am now starting the seedlings under a 64W fluorescent t8 that I found at the thrift store for 5 bucks. They will be getting a few hours of HPS light tomorrow and I will increase that every few days if they do ok. I will post pics when things get interesting. Peace!:leaf:

Yo man, thanks for the words of encouragement.

Good news, you are going to get to see Joey Weed's "Moonshadow"([Chemo X White Rhino] x C99) as well, although they will be about five weeks behind the BBxC99. My brother, who has chronic migraines, intends to name me as his caretaker. When he has his legal stuff figured out, we will be germing 6 Moonshadow beans.

I thought the 2 megapixel camera on my phone would cut it for plant pics, but not even close, so I procured a better camera. Battery is charging, pics tomorrow!

OKAY, so I must have broken the camera that I borrowed(how I'm not really sure), but it is definitely not working. SO I gave up on getting good pictures for now and took some with my phone (sorry for the delay).

I'm still looking for a decent camera, hopefully I can manage to find one for a reasonable price by the time we start getting buds.

The DP Tundra and Buddha Red Dwarf were sexed at 13 days! The mystery autoflowering plant was sexed at a mere 11 days, showed male, and was promptly killed.

Here are pics I took today, the plants are 18 days old. The first one(smaller tan pot) is one of the C99xBB, the second(bigger tan pot) is the Red Dwarf, the third(protein container) is the Dutch Passion Tundra(marked Passion #1).

:cry:I poisoned my C99BBs with overly acidic water, and had minor calcium lockout in two of them and major calcium lockout that killed the third. I flushed lightly with pH9.0 water with added dolomite lime, which seems to have solved the problem. I am now down to two C99xBBs.

The autoflowering plants are looking incredible, under the 1000W HPS they are growing much more vigorously than they do under natural sunlight.

PICS ARE: DP Tundra, Red Dwarf, C99xBB, Family shot of the closet

Sorry about the bare leg in the first pic... nobody wants to see that.

Oh yea, and I started two more "autoflowering mystery cross" seeds, I hope I get a female so I can see what they look like.

THE TWO REMAINING C99XBBs WERE MALES.

Here are pics of the two autos. I will keep updating on these lil ladies, but wont have Joey Weed's genetics back in my room until mid October.

In my opinion, "Red Dwarf" is a fake strain. I believe Buddha Seeds simply feminized Lowryder 2 seeds and made up a bullshit story about hybridizing with skunk.

The Tundra I believe is legit (although I have read otherwise on some forum somewhere).
