Multi Strain HPS/CFL Closet Flowering Grow Room (Pics & Updates Often)

It's about time I started my own Journal and track the progress.
I live near San Francisco, and this is a Medical Grow. My county allows me a total of 6 mature plants, but my space allows me only 4. It is a 2x2x5 closet located in my bathroom. I have 2 Hindu Kush, 1 Hindu Purp, and 1 Blue Cheese. All 3 Hindu's were vegged for 1.5 weeks from clone, and the Cheese was thrown directly into flowering on the start night after I got her. The Hindu's were topped right before flowering, and the Cheese wasn't. I'm using a 150 watt HPS, 2- 55w CFL's, 1- 42w CFL, and 1- 26w CFL (All are 2700k spectrum). I also have 3 6500k 1 foot tubes going around the 3 walls of the closet to help aide in more of a dual spectrum. I run 2 fans and can luckily leave my door open at least 10 out of 12 light hours. Temps hang out around 79-84-Day/65ish-Night and humidity in the 40% range at canopy level. I have the walls fully arranged with mylar, and run 2 homemade C02 bottles will fish tank tubing running from the tops of the bottles into my top fan to blow over my girls. Using Flora Nova Bloom, Kool Bloom, and Cal Mag for nutes. Keeping PH around 5.8-6 and using FF Ocean Forest for soil, and added about 30% perlite into the mix before transplanting. Water every 4-6 days whenever I feel the soil get dry 2 inches below the top.

These pics were taken earlier on their 24th day of flowering

Questions/Advice always welcome:leaf:

Looks like you got a pretty nice closet grow op going all the necessary requirments but did you say you only vegged a couple for 1.5 weeks and the other went straight to flower?

Yeah the first 3 I had vegging for a week and a half, then when i found the other strain of clone I waned, which was the Blue Cheese... I transplanted it, no FIM, and then started all 4 flowering.

Picked up some more Cal Mag and CNS17 Ripe from Botanicares line earlier at the hydro store.

Anyone ever use the CNS17, and if so.. how'd you like it? The guy at the store told me it was similar to Overdrive.

I'm gonna be watering today when my lights come on in an hour. I'll rate how well I like it within the next couple of days and see if there's an explosion of growth hahaha... we'll see.

Decided to upgrade from a regular timer to a Digital one today.

Hopefully this new one will be less stressful and and turn off at the exact time it's set for.

$17 bucks at Home Depot instead of a crappy $8 one at wal-mart.

Got it programed.. so we'll see if it turns off at midnight.

Before and after pics:

Do NOT buy this unreliable piece of crap, I had to return it earlier:

nice plants. your setup is similar to my first grow. i used a 150 in a 2x2 tent. during week six of flower i added a second 150. it made a huge difference in the yeild and quality. the only caveat is that you must have proper ventilation in an enclosed area for those all in one 150s. i got a 4 inch inline fan and it worked great. i also used cns17 grow and bloom which i got as free samples on a couple plants. on the others i used fox farm trio. there was not much of a discernible difference. i also used botanicare sweet which is kinda like using molasses. i really liked this product but am not sure i would spend the extra money on it over molasses (got it as free sample). stay green man.

Cheers thanks for stopping by.
As much as i would like to run another 150 in there.. my temps would be outta hand.

Looking good dude I'm subbed

A few things

1. Were using the same exact timers  bought at home depot. I've figured it out. You can set different on off times for each day if you want (dont) or you can just have the first setting, set ALL days. So you have it set to ON 1 at 8am, and OFF 1 at 8pm.... one time turns the power on, one time turns it off. It works well, I had the same issues with the regular timers starting at slightly different times. I like specific time routine, it's nice for my plants and myself. No more freaking out at 8:12 when they were supposed to turn on at 8:10 you know?

2. I wouldn't transplant in flower, you want to set everything up in veg, and just let the plants go for flower.. They have a window for flowering, and you cant get back any time they are stressed or whatever.. Which is why you train in veg, and just flower those bitches out..

3.
Keeping PH around 5.8-6 and using FF Ocean Forest for soil,

Ok, so with Soil you want your pH to range between like 6.3-6.8. I shoot for 6.5. With HYDROPONICS you want a pH of like 5.8. You will lock out some nutrients when you start getting out of those ranges... check out the link below for REALLY good info on pH and it's relation to nutrient uptake... also a great source for easy info.. book mark it

Thanks for the info on my PH.
Ive just started to PH my runoff water on this grow instead of last, and it's super high like 7.5 coming out the bottom.. So with that happening, I've been trying to correct it by low balling it going in with a 6 range. Haven't seen any problems of lockout/defs/burn/etc..

No lie about those crappier general timers. At midnight is when I have my lights to go out. I remember on my last grow, by week 8 of flower, they were gradually on earlier and turning off earlier, but still held its full 12/12.. Haha my GF would be like "babe, ur lights are about to go off" and i'd jump up, look at my phone at the time was 11:22 by harvest haha.
I just installed that timer last night with only my lights going through the 2 grounded inputs, and my fans running 24/7. I programmed it noon/midnight all 7 days, but they didn't turn off for some reason? Do you know if it's gotta be on 'Auto On'? Cause the directions say that On is always On.. and Off, is always Off. Timers trip me out, then over analyze the shit outta them and in turn need to smoke another bowl to relieve me of my small scale anxiety attack when it hits 12:03am and they're still on haha

If your using good soil like Fox Farms the ph should already be fine... with fox farms you should be adding regular phed water... @ 6.5ish

but hey man don't fix what isn't broke if you don't want to...

with a 6.0 pH you could be seeing lockout on Calcium/magnesium... will show up as copper spots for calcium, and kind of an even yellow/burned area for magnesium def.

Good call.
I got Cal Mag at 5mL/Gal + Flora Bloom, Kool Bloom, and CNS17 (last three at 1/2 strength) going so hopefully I won't see any deficiencies.
I've been trying to play with diff levels of nutes and see how hard i can push my ladies and maximize the hell outta my 150 for what it's worth without down-curled leaf tips or burning for that matter. Again, always good to converse with somebody on my setup. I don't get much traffic and am still relatively new to RIU. Any way to see more traffic Verde?

Meat or lettuce? what are you talking about man I'm ripped

link > https://www.rollitup.org/toke-n-talk/415104-making-cannabis-cookies-sr-verde.html

 you haven't had the right edibles then ;).. edibles are whats up... ive got lollipops that taste like normal lollipops.. except they have hash oil in them  delicious... these peanut butter cookies taste like peanut butter and a littttle coconut.. no nasty cooked ganja flavor...

You're a taco, inside a taco.. etc.
So... that makes you the meat or the lettuce:?: :]

All edibles I've had are from the club and have never hit me super status besides the 10x Moon Pie's haha

I do like how your cookies have a faint hint of coconut oil and nothing else. Coconut Peanut butter cookies sounds chron as fawk.

But yeah.. 80% of edibles I've had DO taste like ground up ass shwagy stress, tasting like: "Fuggit, stems? seeds? No prob!" weak.

oh it's from south park episode called, 'insheepshon" explaining the different levels of the 'dream state'

I think most dispensary edibles would be on the weaker side. Less product, or trim to make more money...

You can make your own, very strong. 7 grams to a stick of butter, in a batch of brownies will fuck ya up NO doubt.
