multi-strain 12/12 from seed Soil-less mix vs. Coco

yeah all us stalkers running coco 12/12 FS want to see how you's doing!!! I think alot of new growers are switching to COCO and looking for journals running it. Roots coco palms, dyna gro- Grow and protekt along w/ Flora Bloom(had it already). The dyna crowd really speaks highly of it. I'm on day 40 from seed. Didnt flush until i saw problems around day 36. I think my flushes will be w/ humboldt roots or hyrgozyme probably alternate and give double what i normally give. Mine have stretched pretty bad the past 10-15days.

me too buddy. my girls are fucking humongous. i had to start tying them down! lol. seriously. and although there are white hairs bursting everywhere im not getting ANY bud production at all . even the smell has disappeared from my plants? like wtf? is something going wrong? im on day 48 by the way..

mine are almost 2ft tall. Beans are from a fem sweet deep grapefruit being pollinated by a hermie SDG. I didnt know i had a light leak on my cloning chamber and pulled the herm too late. Luckily only the one closest to the herm got polinated. So i'm not expecting alot. I popped 20beans not knowing at that point that a Fem plant polinated by another fem produces Fem seeds. OOPS. So i will be making decision shortly on who needs to go i am trying to harvest ASAP which appears to still be 40+ days away so i will keep the ones that look further along.

Hey guys! its been waaaay too long. Ive been quite busy and away from home a lot. A couple small problems with the plants i think mainly due to dehydration since i cant water as often as i would like and the plants are drinking pretty heavily. My Big bomb is short but is it ever packed with flowers! and tons of crystals im excited as fuck and i would recommend bomb genetics to anyone! The white widow is tall and at first i thought it wouldnt put out very well since the nodes were so few and far between but its really packing on bud too! The smell is getting pretty strong even with the filter i can smell a faint skunky odor so ill pick up some odor eater pucks this weekend. The ww in coco is still kicking but is very small and wont produce much the Blue Cheese got the chop, piece of shit, lol

As far as the problems go the main thing is im getting some crispiness and curling on some of my bigger fan leaves. Hopefully its just dehydration and i can start to fix that now with a regular watering schedule, however i got a ph meter delivered while i was away so just tonight i checked the tap water 7.4 which is a bit high then i checked my nute solution 6.2 which is pretty damn low!! i guess gh is made more for hydro systems so if u had ph balanced water u would end up with a perfect ph level for hydro but its too low for me!! and quite a bit of a swing when im switching from nutes to plain water so now that i know i can find a medium like 6.6-6.8 and that might help too

Pics will come up tonight hopefully!!

Ok so here are some pics of the big bomb and white widow, the widow is the tall one. The pics in the sink are from around day 45 and the ones under hps are from day 54

In some of the later pics you can see the crispy leaves, especially on the big bomb, if you have any idea what it is let me know

WOW man your plants are looking damn good! they started to bud WAAAY before mine and stayed really short!!! NICE. mine are fucking HUMUNGOUS BRO. and they didnt start budding till about day 50! its day 57 today and i havent updated my journal since day 40. they're looking really good tho. im gonna put some pics up in a little bit i want you to go check em out man.

but shit how much longer you gonna let yours go brother?? i got about 3-4 MORE weeks till i can harvest. like i said they didnt really start budding till almost day 50 and its only day 57 today : (

but seriously other then that leaf curl and a little dehydration bro your looking great. im so jealous yours stayed short. i had to tie my bitches down! they were waaaay too big for my space. lol

i dont think that those probs are from dehydration. one day i dropped too much fert in my soil on accident and a week later looked exactly like that. You almost undoubtedly have nute burn. The classic curl and yellowing are obvious signs. Mine never recovered and no matter what i did they passed. The one who barley survived didnt produce much. Hopefully you can correct the prob but i think shit might get worse. Post that pic in plant probs and almost 100% of the responses will be the same. Flush it with 3x the amount of medium you have. what you need is a PPM meter and a NPK soil test kit. Dehydration wouldnt exactly show like that.

Thanks for the info newbie that's exactly what I needed to hear, I'll flush them as soon as I can and lower the amount of nutes

So I didnt get to update my journal nearly as much as i planned and ended up being gone for a while so my plants suffered accordingly :( but i did finish my first grow so i guess thats something to be proud of lol. I most definitely learned a couple lessons and cant wait to get going again heres what my plants looked like when i gave them the chop. The smaller one is the big bomb it didnt produce as much as the ww but the bud is so nice and tight and i can tell its going to be awesome. The white widow produced big time but the buds are a bit airy.
