between Indica and Sativa highs?

I no there's a difference between the two, but how much is that difference? Easily noticeable, slightly noticeable?

Which do you prefer and why?

India is more a body sleepy stupid retarded glued too the couch high while Sativa is more of a head high and less stoney so they say. Haven't you smoked both? I still get sleepy off Sativas too, you just gotta judge for yourself. I like Indicas cuz' I wanna get blasted and really know Im high. Indicas tend to pack a stronger punch. bongsmilie

Looking at the characteristics of i've definitely smoked both! Never realised it was because of the strain as well as the type

I could probably give you a good answer here as I am very sensitive to any drugs...not just cannabis. Cannabis Sativa is more of a nice laughy high for me...I prefer it actually but it is harder to come by in these parts since it is less of a "trippy visual head high". Dealers and Growers in Eastern Canada prefer Cannabis Indica as it is more of a balls out experience, rather uncontrollable when it comes to effects. And those who are younger or more willing to explore the "let's see what happens" factor, "let's get smashed"...etc. etc. are buying Indica. So an Indica mix is what you are most likely to find. However, mostly Sativa mix with a little Indica is fine with me. I prefer happiness over anxious panic or an uncontrollable high...just my thing. I had a heart attack due to stress at 34...so more happy and giddy the better. I admit, back in the day...I loved getting shit faced stoned and the more I was out of control of my bodily functions, the better...hey, I wanted my money's worth. It just depends on what you prefer...but yes, there is a big difference. Indica to Sativa...strain to strain.

I would prefer sativa but as you say dealers normally grow indica, if my grow develops well i'm gonna get sativa! :D

indica and sativa plants flower because of their photoperiod (difference of light to dark.) these plants flower when the photoperiod is 12/12

ruderalis plants are autoflowering meaning they flower right after the seedling stage regardless of how much light their getting. you can give them 24 hours of light and they will continue flowering.

I've got a question that's been bothering me. Now, if I were to chop an indica plant early and the thc to cbd/cbn count was way higher, the high would be more visual or like a "sativa high" as you all are saying. If I let a sativa go until it has a fair amount of ambers, the high should technically be more of an "indica high", right? I've grown both and had indicas with the sativa effect because of the timing of the chop. I'm not sure the high itself is the difference between indica and sativa so much as the way the plant grows and time it takes to mature. Is there something I'm missing? Surely somebody has asked this before but I couldn't find anything. Thanks.
