Yeah but there was some disagreements between the two at the end and Nevil hated how shanti talks in riddles when it comes to lineages whereas Nevil was more open regardless you definitely can find some nice stuff in some of shantis gear
Facts like does he still have cuts or is those seeds f40 ibl or lol wish dude was more open on this work

On one of the last live streams he started saying his Ortega was nl2 x nl5 but for donkeys was always known to be nl1 x nl5 so who actually knows I don't know if he was just mixed up cos it happens or if he was just trying to keep the mystery going lol

Anything pop up like ww from back in the day I wonder ? cos he was saying in bw it's one in 50 for the proper white widow pheno roughly so the female stuff might be a better shout looking for it
Nothing that stood out as much as the 'White Pheno' did but I had one of the girls that was a lot frontier than the others and she packed a real punch too. I'd happily grow the strain again for sure.

Sounds good alot of widow stuff these days is lacking just that and that's exactly what we was known for the punch besides the obvious heavy resin coat of course

Idk.

Ppl all say "oh gotta grow out 50 plants"

I've only ever popped single seeds of each strain I've run and I've never had an issue clocking in potency and flavor....I haven't run black widow yet but plan to.....Mr nice the G13 Haze and Afghan Haze both were impressive from single seeds... in fact I've had very few strains from ANYONE turn out to be shit.....imo if I did a pheno hunt I'd turn out mostly good ass weed, whereas everyone else seems to only find good ass weed once in a while for some reason

That was shanti that said that though I get what you mean though you know yourself it's luck too you could pop one seed and hit what you want first time or with the last one too tis a lottery

I call the old-school Dutch stuff and Mr. Nice Seeds strains psychotropic weed. In contrast, the vast majority of today’s cannabis produces a completely different kind of high—definitely more manageable and less "psychotropic," which is great for those who appreciate that cozy, warm blanket feeling and a vacant stare into the void .
There’s room for that too, of course... it’s just that, from what I’ve been experiencing, everything seems to lean toward that kind of high nowadays.

But that kind of weed that makes you think, next time I have a session, I’d better prepare a solid set and setting —or where, while waiting in line for a kebab, you suddenly forget what the hell you were even doing there—and at the same time, you realize this and get so freaked out that, if you’re not outright panicking, it’s because you ran to the bathroom to splash your face with water —and then the journey begins . Just go with the flow...

And it’s not just the Haze strains. Even in indica-dominant Skunk hybrids or Widow strains, you can find highs that are qualitatively superior—or at least different, depending on personal preference—compared to a lot of the stuff today.
That said, yeah, I’m also not a fan of that racing heart high you used to find often, even in old school indica hybrids. You don’t really see that anymore.

That said, the candy-like flavors of some modern strains are absolutely insane! But still, I’m glad there are people like Mr. Nice Seeds and others keeping the old-school genetics alive.

Of course, I could be wrong—I’m not in the U.S., and I don’t have access to all those legit cuts. And after a while, you tend to stick to what you like best, so I don’t keep trying new things constantly. But I’ve tried quite a bit of the new-school stuff.

In the united states ppl tend to grow what ever produces the most product, also the candy flavors you speak of....but it depends on the region....I'm in the northeast and haze is legendary here, however most have given up growing it for faster indicas with good flavor.

I love both great flavored strains and haze/old school sativas....but also have a love for the chem/diesel family too.....but out west they seem to grow all candy/fruit/sweet flavored stuff, which I love too, but I do get sick of some of it depending on flavor.....

What I've found is the truly killer potent weed is extremely hard to find these days, whereas back in the day like 20 years ago I knew exactly where to get it - the only question was could I afford it lol.....now I can afford it but rarely can find it.

Everything seems to be mids imo unless homegrown.

Mr. Nice. Dot com is the website

It's the legendary Mr. NICE SEEDBANK right in the USA shipped from Seattle.

Anyway;

Seeds arrived in a 5 day window; not the fastest but not the slowest either....all in original packaging.

My pickups:

Original G13 feminized
Afghan Haze
Nevilles Haze
Black Widow

This was a test order to see if it was legit and it definitely is.

Already placed a 2nd order:

Nevilles Skunk
Medicine Man (white rhino)
G13 Haze
G13 x Amnesia
Keep us posted on that G13 Haze. And Neville's Skunk...leaving to Google that now lol.

It was awesome. Lemon-cleaner/Haze terps, super potent (best in my stash out of 12 strains at the time) high was mostly sativa but had a good indica kick to it as well (and usually I don't even feel indica effects - this one i did) flavor was truly amazing lemon cleaner woody haze....usually I'm not big on woody hazes but this made me rethink that...I am a huge haze/old school sativa fan and id personally say this is one of my top 5 strains ever for flavor and effect. Not the most potent and not the absolute best flavor ever, but overall it checked every box there is twice lol
