Mr. Nice SSH or Sannies?

Do not know much about Sannies seeds, but want to grow some SSH and I see Sannies has a Shackzella, a SSH cross, Would like to hear from growers of Mr. Nice and Sannies to get some input on thier seeds, thanks, also would like to say Jack herer from sinse seeds is the best weed I have ever grown, the cost is just to high,

I grew shantis and it was a good grow,well worth the time I spent,Im growing it at the present time again.I had several phenos (6)out of a 18 pack.One pheno at 9 weeks and one even went 14,my favorite was a 10 weeker that would light your headup

IDK man I like sannies gear but I had to get some Mr Nice SSH. Plus I got a couple seeds of Jack Herer but 1 didn't pop and the other 2 were males. Kind of a bummer I want to try to grow it again. Maybe you should try SSh and sannies jack and tell us how it compared to Sensi's I would love to know.

My grow is full of Sannies. I'm finishing up a Jack Hammer right now. She's a cross of Sannies Jack X Amnesia Haze, is a 13+ week finish and smells big time of lemon grass, in every way, fresh, dried, smoked. I've sampled 10 week buds and it's already very nice. I also have Extrema, Cheeseberry Haze, and I'm just starting some Herijuana. Feel free to stop by.

Duchieman, what kind of yields are you looking at?

I can't tell you that yet. I had a bumpy start with the first three seeds due to inexperience and the germ failed, then I had a stretch of males, but they were awesome and I kept two for pollen. Then on my eighth I finally hit my female and she's finishing up in the next two weeks bearing fruit in some lower buds. Of the next two seed I have one confirmed female and waiting on the other, and that female is more vigorous and thicker than this one, more like the males were. Again, I was new with my first batch of good genetics so they could have hit the 50/50, but more important to me is that they are great plants and so far a sample taken at week 10 already gives a great high. If you would like more experienced info and opinions on Sannies stuff the OpenGrow site has a Sannies Corner and Sannies visits and posts frequently.

SSH has some loooooong flowering pheno's, 20 weeks + flowering time is a definite possibility.

I have had some long flowering Mr. Nice Seeds SSH phenotypes ..... but nothing anywhere near 20 plus weeks. That's over 140 days. I had one that took almost 15 weeks and I know of others who had some take 14 to 15 weeks ..... but I have never had, heard of or read of a 20 plus week phenotype.

If you want to see a bad side of SSH, look up DST's thread and chat with him. His new name for it is SSHit. All I'll say is I don't think he'll be jarring this girl, anything else you'll have to ask him. What I seen I tend to agree. Not saying they're all like that but there seems to be this one pheno. I think he was on week 16 or better when he decided to just end it.

The original what? What do Mr. Nice do different than any other breeder? I have three Mr. Nice strains coming this week. If the strains grow out to be crap or no better than any other company then I am going to be very disappointed because I only bought them due to Bricktop claiming they were all that. If they can't beat GH, FMS, KC Brains, Delicious, Emerald Triangle, and etc. I am definatly going to call them out. LOL.

Did a little digging and tried to find out who's SSH that was in DST's step grow journal... It's almost a 400 page thread and my google skills weren't good enough to zero in on the page where DST introduces the SSH to his journal. There is a lot of talk about SSH in that thread and a great deal of it is about Greenhouse SSH not Mr Nice SSH. There are a lot of breeders who have a version of SSH but in this particular thread, the OP (and incidentally, me) want to know about Mr. Nice SSH.

I have nothing bad to say about Sannie's but if you're after SSH I'd go for the real thing, why mess around with a 50% cross? even if the breeder of that cross is top notch.

Hey Rolo, yeah D's thread is a biggie, sorry bout that. It was just recently he cut it down, within the last couple of weeks. I'm not saying one is better than the other (SSH vs Sannie) because I really wouldn't know because I've only had the Sannies and I'm just not experienced enough to say, but he was asking about Sannie and I have a few of those, and am for sure getting more.

I would go for Sannies Jack first because its way cheaper and Sannie puts out a good product. I have grown many Mr Nice SSH's, there is some BOMB-ASS plants in that line but you will have to sort thru many to find the best ones. Some of my favorite herb was SSH the only down side is every plant I have gotten has been different, and 2 this year have gone in excess of 20 weeks. The 20 wk plants are good but the buds have very little bag appeal as they are very whispy fox tailed haze buds, it is cool to experience such a long flowering sativa but in the end I would rather have a shorter flowering pheno as these are not practical.
Jack Herer (Skunk #1 x NL#5 x Haze) and Mr Nice SSH ([NL#5 x HazeC] x [Skunk#1 x HazeC]) are very similar genetically and I think Neville even said they are the same, he would kno as he worked at Sensi in the early 90s.

If I had to choose I would go with Mr nice, I have heard a lot of good things about them.

Id like to try your Wu Tang Style
