Moving...wanna take my baby with...????

Yo, didn't see anything on the net about this and I understand why. I was wondering how I can go about taking my baby with me during my my move, it will be less than a 12 hour trip so I'll just give her light 12 before I depart that way she would be sleep in the truck. What do you think? Should I worry about getting stopped by K-9 (scent), how should I pack her? I will be taking other house plants etc. also. Any feedback/ advice would be greatly appreciated.

The likelihood of being stopped is very small to begin with, but you should still take precautions. Depending on her size, and what you are driving (u-haul truck) wardrobe boxes are great. Tape it up really well. I'd also recommend traveling during your lights-on phase, as you will likely have light leaks and its better to go without 12 hours of light for one day, than to interrupt the dark cycle for 12 hours.

Just like Fo'v said, having her miss one 12 on cycle isn't that crucial. However, the potential result of light stress during a dark period most assuredly is. You dont want your beautiful bby girl to grow balls now, do you?

flowering plant just leave it in the dark the entire trip

Great advice by Fo'v there, but if she's late into flower, might be worth picking up a bucket of Ona gel to throw in the box/cabinet/wardrobe if scent is of any concern.

id trim it in tight
get a box slighty gigger then after trim
pack pot into box bottom very tight and secure
tape over top of pot
leave top of plat free
leave top of box open - just fold over flaps for trip in and out of truck
going to be hot in truck
