Luv Houston (School @ Rice Aviation & U of H) but they (Texas) are militant re: drugs and testing, even weed.
Some still have that 19th century thinking but...
EXCELLENT Live music scene (not as great as Austin tho).
And... VERY VERY close to New Orleans. GL in Odessa, ffs. Glad you'll be making BANK!

DFW... The worse place in the world (for me) to learn the HIGHways and roads bc they have multiple names for each of them.

Not like Houston's traffic is a breeze but I got use too it drivin in it everyday.

I prefer the "loop" around Kauai.

The weather is far from perfect for anything lol, I've seen it snow in july and have seen it get over 100 in the middle of december. We have a saying here in texas, "if you don't like the weather, just wait".
