Moving to Denver/Boulder area in April, need some advice...

Peace and love to all you ganja lovin amazing people :peace:

I'm moving to CO sometime in the first part of April, and would like to get your thoughts on a few things. First, I'm going out there with my good buddy and we plan on starting a grow operation, starting out with a couple dozen trees, then scaling up and eventually getting some property somewhere and throw up some greenhouses to increase yield.

The main thing on my mind is the risk in growing in a place that we're renting. There's much more privacy when you OWN a home, but will landlords mess with us if we're following the law and doing things right? We're also considering a lease-to-own option which would help to have more privacy I'd say. Not interested in an apartment, but a house all to ourselves.

Is there an easy way to find or connect with property owners who are cool with caregivers growing for a few patients? I suppose just asking around would be a good start, so if any of you happen to know a property owner with a house for rent or a lease-to-own option, please let me know. it would just be so much better knowing the property owner is cool with things.

Besides that, I hope to connect with many of you in Colorado after I get there. The great mountains have been calling me for awhile now, and I know there are tons of really kickass people out there to do cool shit with and help plug me into the 420 social pipeline bongsmilie :blsmoke: Feel free to hit me up on here or on Skype.

Lots of new house rental companies have in their contracts that you will not grow mmj. Of course who knows if they say that to cover their own ass so the feds can't take their house. I think I seen an ad in Westword (or some other magazine filled with mmj ads) that there are some companies helping people like you. I don't think Colorado is the green rush it used to be. They are starting to crack down on "caregivers."

Hey thanks for the reply. I'm now reading other similar threads around the internet, and have found a couple groups that may be able to help.

yeah if anything around here its going into a lost ancient art of growing better than mediocre and when there is killer its priced the same so it doesn't reach its fame

Yea I think the prices should come down overall in dispensaries (and on the street). I'm still seeing dispensaries advertising $20+ a gram, which I think is ridiculous. But there is still some healthy risk to consider when running a large grow op, so I guess the prices can be justified.

We're now seriously looking into buying a foreclosure on the cheap, and just go the safer route. Although foreclosure shopping seems to be very confusing so far. If anyone here has any knowledge of the process of buying a foreclosure, please let me know - maybe you can help me with a few questions I have.

Thanks!

Listen. Boulder and Denver are the center of the universe for quality marijuana strains. While I am pissing off a lot of people in Cali and Canada, the same applies to these locations as well. That ship already sailed? Yeah, that's so 2 years ago...(sniff farts*). That bitch is at full mast! I am about to move back to that area for the third time in my life. LOL. Great selection of lost and new clones/seeds in CO. You can't beat the scenery and it tends to lack a lot of the problems that other medical states have. If you are in the boulder area please visit the 14er. They have the best strains, edibles and proprietary clones on the planet!

Boulder's BEST! 45 bucks an 8th of SERIOUS top shelf dank, with freebies all the time. Not just shitty old joints. Free lolly pops and edibles. While it is nice to treat yourself every now and then to expensive goodies at the pharms, the REAL treats are the hashes and clones. That's all the justification i need.
