Moving plants in cold

Currently vegging 1 plant and it will soon need to vacate the tent during a week or so dry operation. A friend can take it in the interim. The move will probably be the week before Christmas and likely cold. My newbie question is between the house and warm vehicle is the plant negatively impacted by the brief exposure or would it be advisable to attempt some measure of protection? Given its current size in a 1 gal nursery pot it would likely sit comfortably in a 5 gal bucket covered with plastic wrap to minimize any brief but substantial temp swings. Or am I overthinking as usual? Thanks.

Don’t even worry about it at all it won’t bother it at all. You’re over thinking it. If it was to be in the cold for any extended period of time then you may need to worry but a brief period is nothing.
