i have 10 plants indoors on 4th week of flower...but the regimen is 7pm on/7am off.what would happen if i put the plants outside from 7am to 7pm to finish for a light dep, would the opposite regimen screw the plants up?would the change in light schedules, especially being reversed confuse the budding plants?or would they just keep budding normally?

hpefully this can be answered today!

They will go back into veg if you give them more than 12 hours of light a day. Hope that answers your question.

i think it will be fine, grimace misunderstood the question i think. Changing the light schedule once or twice isnt going to put the plant into much stress.

Reversing your light schedule 4 weeks into flowering will stress them, and stressed flowering plants tend to react by self-pollinating.

Not always, but I wouldn't recommend what you are considering due to possible hermie situation.

Problem is not the schedule change but the fact that there is and will be increased light during the summer hence why MOST outdoor is off season. What you can do is tarp your plants everyday from 8pm to 8am. Giving the plant more light than 12 hours will cause your plants to either hermi or reveg. Does this make sense?

OOPs after re-reading your post, YES you can do this as long as you tarp that bitch up. Kind of a pain no?

I've had to do 24 hours of darkness a few times and it's always been fine. The girls get upset for a little bit but they go back to normal pretty fast.
