A couple large black trashbags, some string, and a garden stake will do the trick! I had to move an entire grow op with 40 flowering plants, lights, etc at 2AM one time in the back of 2 SUV's. First, stake your plant. Then take one trash bag and set your plant in it, tie it off at the bottom of the stalk so it's containing all your soil and none will spill. Take some string and tie it around the canopy bringing all of your branches in semi-tight with the plant stake. Take your second trash bag and poke a few holes in it here and there so at least some oxygen will get in. After you do that just put that bag over the top of the plant and tie it at the bottom of the stalk where the other bag is tied. It's not the best idea in the world but we transported all of the plants laying down horizontally and didn't lose one plant from it and they were all fine when the lights came on the next day. Also, no noticable differences for the rest of the grow. Just make sure you don't leave the bags on any longer than you have to, our trip was nearly an hour long drive... Scariest drive ever!

do it really late at night if possible if there is not alot of traffic where you live at night, maybe even get a buddy to watch out for you if you have a friend that knows about it.
