Moving autos inside

So I’ve got 6 autos in 3 gal fabric pots. Lost track of when they be ready.
with the weather we’re having I’m thinking I might throw them inside my garage with a fan with a 1000 way hps. They are all milky cloudy trics. How high should I set the lights iv never grown with hps and what power for the ballets it has 25 50 75 and 100 % strength. Thanks

1000w hps, depending on the reflector hood, will give you full coverage on about a 4'x4' footprint. It's a stretch around the edges on a 5'x5' footprint.

Use full power. I imagine 6 autos that jave been growing outdoor will need a larger space than the footprint of the light can effectively cover.

Your biggest issue with distance from the canopy depends on how you control the heat emitted from the lamp. If you have a vented hood you can get it much closer than without a vented hood. If your plants are already acclimated to the intensity of direct sunlight, then light stress shouldn't be an issue.

In an open space like a garage you can get pretty close. But flowering maybe even a bit closer. Don't blow the fans right on the plants...
I'd say 2-3 feet away from your tops but make sure you have even coverage on the 6. and move the air around as best as you can...

Can you vent the room? 1000 Watts sealed in a garage will warm up quickly.. 90+

Would maybe get one of those wings tracker mentioned it has a good spread and works for open space decently.

Something to note is if any bugs have laid eggs in or on the plant and/or soil, and you bring them into a heated space they will present themselves to you very quickly..
