In wayno30's defense, when i think crawlspace I also think crowded, dirty, pest-ridden. Crawlspace at the last home i owned ... i had to get in there to deal with a plumbing emergency. Got a spot of mange or similar pooch mites on my hip from that!
If the crawlspace is nicely finished out and not a buggy place, then it's all good imo. However the thought of putting the support machinery (ballasts, fans, whatnot) under the grow room would appeal to me. cn

yea i prolly wouldnt grow in a dank filthy bug infested place :)
