How is the Harold and Kumar Xmas flic? Thinking of watching it On Demand this weekend. I liked the first 2
it was allright.

the scene with that dougie howser dude (funnily i forget his name and have only seen that show once and didnt like it)

was by far the most memorable.

though there were a few other good scenes. (about 2 really good, 3 with the dougie)

Mononoke Hime is my favorite movie of any genre. Very 'Dances With Wolves' with its own twist. I own most of the studio ghibli collection. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is also a wonder of animation, but quite saddening. Reminded of of a slightly more downbeat and mature anime with the same feel as Haruhi no Yuutsu.
.

I'll be careful, but multiple threads on the same topic make everything feel 'messy'. I hate it and it's harder when all the information on this site is so fragmented because 50 threads have been made for one thing. I find it hard to even keep tracks of 3 or 4 threads created within a two week period on the same thing. Old mod habits.. and I come from forums with much stricter posting guidelines. *slaps self* Sorry.
Kuroi, I am curious as to why you've recently gone on this thread tidiness binge.
I find more threads = merrier, even though I have been rather reticent about beginning new threads myself.
I find that each thread on a given topic has its own atmosphere, its own "feel". Even when a thread is "bumped" into another round of repartee. To my way of thinking, threads are fragments of crystallized time, individual as snowflakes.
I am not seeking to argue with you here. But I am curious as to how consolidating things into established threads will enhance the (okay, this) participant's experience. I, for one, can get more intimidated by an unread thread with 36 pages than one with 2. cn

True some threads have their own atmosphere, I understand that. But what I posted above is something that has bothered me hugely from the start, but was always afraid of sounding bitchy for saying it. I suppose I still do and I am sorry.

I was worried I might hurt your feelings. Please please know that is not my intention. I previously hung out in a much differently-structured online community, so i get it. My primary gripe is that in the old place, one responded to a post, and all I had to do was check my Inbox to know if a conversation had advanced. Here, I don't have that nice feature.
I really hope I have not offended you. cn

No no! Don't worry Neer-Neer x I've just come from a different kind o webspace and I'm very stuck in my ways regardless. I suppose I need to learn to let it go, but it's like hundreds of open filing cabinets all over the place and people post wondering why they can't find the relative information.
No need to apologize, sir.

no wonder, but hey, bricktop my ass, Jessica has got a serious dose of "im fragile, i need protection, where is my prince in shining armor" thing going for her lol

mr prince on a white horse :)
Who could protect her better than an unhinged pig feeding gangster? And she does have a bit of that look to her, but she also has the look of being hotter than the fires of Hades when she's feeling passionate.

I see what you mean seeing her in profile and that's a sideways picture. She's far more attractive though. I thoroughly enjoyed Honey and that nude photo of her is both tasteful and highly pleasing...

So, back on the topic of movies, Honey is like a watered-down Boyz In Da Hood meets Footloose. In a kind of good way... as is Save the Last Dance.

I don't know what that is but good luck. :) I just posted it because I like Hunter S. Thompson and a friend showed it to me. ;) I like the art.

i dunno, did you see bricktops boss and how servile he was around him? :D

looked like bricktop was one or 2 fuckups away from being knocked off, plus then there were the pikies :D

pigfeeding gangsters, usually end up as pigfodder themselves.

i was looking for a funny picture but i came across this instead.
people are taking their toys outside and doing these like.. "nature scene" photographs.

maybe i'm just too fucking high, but it seems so creepy... it just seems like such a bizarre thing to do.
