Moved to DWC system and now they're DYING (with pics)

I moved these two to a DWC tub and gave them the recommended vegetative growth recipe on the back of my General Hydroponics 3 part bottles. When i took the picture i adjusted the rez pH from 7 to 6. I'm not sure if it's nutrient burn and if i should dilute with pH adjusted water or if it's enviromental. For more information see my grow journal link in my signature.

well it's midday on a nice day at right now it's 78F....but it's a dwc system...so i dunno if it's overwatering... think i should just dilute with ph adjusted water?

okay now i adjusted the ph down from 7 to 6, i diluted with ph adjusted water (like 25% diluted), and i put a fan in there blowing over the plants (but not enough to blow dust everywhere) I think i should have hit all of my bases just gotta play the waiting game to see if i fixed it or not...

You should check the temps of the water in that system.

As a general rule, rez temps stay at 3-5 degrees above ambient air temp. So if you have peaks of 82F in that room, your plant's roots are sitting in 87 degree water, which is WAY too hot for the roots to be sitting in.

Well...i would be concerned about that but... the roots haven't even left the net pots. Although i should look into getting a rez cooler...

In that case, I'm not sure what's going on.

I'm not too familiar with DWC, but I'm sure someone else around here can give you some definitive answers.

I'm pretty sure that it was some kind of nutrient shock because now the same mix is working great i came back and now they're doing great!

I probably should have used a transitional mix between seedling and full growth

oh well all good now

edit: forgot to mention, theres a big fan on those lights, so they stay pretty cool to the touch, so don't be alarmed by them bein friendly with each other.
