yeah man it's pretty hard sometimes.Hi all. Im just curious if anyone has moved to colorado and broken into the growing business. Anything that entails how hard it is etc.... basically anyone with CO experience can chime in.
Why? Is there not enough TOP END growers there now? Are dispensary's closing early for lack of TOP SHELF buds?Hi all. Im just curious if anyone has moved to colorado and broken into the growing business. Anything that entails how hard it is etc.... basically anyone with CO experience can chime in.
Lol call is about as saturated as co as far as I know. Not going to do any better out here. Unless you're good on selling your indoor pounds for under $2k. Because with all the shops around here, you need to have established a relationship with them pre-08 when all the raids and shit went down. Unless you have real versions of specific clone onlys and weight of those, youre not making money from generic or unheard of strains. My daughter and SIL moved to Denver about 6 months ago. He got a job with Green Dot Labs and makes about $600.00 a week....most of which I think he spends on weed. They are thinking Cali now.....whatever. Unless you have some excellent connections there I think the thrill is gone as far as making money with the weed. Now if you can provide a marketable service (like Uncle Buck) to the idiots who head out there thinking they'll be rich, you'll probably do well.
Exactly...but the kids won't listen to me. I'm standing my ground here in Florida and hoping for the best. At least my home is paid for, and besides...it's nice here.Lol call is about as saturated as co as far as I know. Not going to do any better out here. Northern California is always an option. Its wide open, everyone has already left for Colorado and Oregon. Thanks everyone. I was just wondering about moving there and getting into the business working for a grow somewhere. Not running my own or trying to make hundreds of thousands. I just enjoy growing and feel like i could do it full time. I understand its very competitive and hard.
you' be a trimmer with the opportunity for advancement at best. Thanks everyone. I was just wondering about moving there and getting into the business working for a grow somewhere. Lmfao dude ur too much,... good one...yeah man it's pretty hard sometimes.
i had knocked out a couple of really killer grows in my ultra-stealth mini-computer cab. all my friends were telling me how dank it was and i had made like $650 selling all of it. so i decided to take that money and move to colorado and play with the other big boys.
when i got there, i hooked up with a crew i recruited by hand from craigslist the night before. we got to work right away on a shed so the plants wouldn't be so cold in the winter. we made it about 4' x 3' x 4'. we had to size it down a little because lumber costs so much, but you do what you have to do.
some neighborhood cats must have got in there one night and knocked the 13 watt CFL powering the grow off cardboard box i duct taped it to and into the newspaper i was using for insulation (ran out of money for insulation). the cats died in the fire and so did my grow. so i had to take a new route to make it work out.
now i clean bathrooms at a truck stop in limon, and occasionally blow a trucker or two through the glory holes in stall 4. pays pretty good and i can afford subway at least twice a week now. rebuilding the grow by looking for seeds in the nickel bags of mid grade i am sometimes traded in return for full boyfriend experience (including anal) and have found a couple so far.
so yeah colorado is a pretty cool state and you will probably break into the growing business like me. not that hard really.
