Move it Outside?

I have a nice Pure Power Plant (one of my favorites) that has about 2 weeks to go. Forecast 10 days out looks real nice. The plant has been grown indoors from seed in 5 gallon soil. Opinions on moving her outdoe to finish? Appreciate the time. TC

It really doesn't as long as the weather is deemed acceptable. The question relates more to whether it would be a matter of too much shock or possible lack natural defenses that would prove detrimental to the outcome. Thank you. TC

The plant has two weeks of its life ahead of it? What could go wrong at this point in terms of "shock"?

Appreciate it. I assumed someone had done this. She is strong and the forecast is favorable, I figured mold or PM may show, but I rarely see any in my garden. Ill give it a shot and take pictures before, after and a plant finished inside. They are clones so may prove beneficial. Thank you. TC

If it’s never been in natural sunlight befor , depending on your location it could struggle being chucked straight into sunlight

I appreciate your concern over legalities. Something that should not be overlooked. My question is more about the positive and or negative effects.

Could try just a few hours in sun for the first couple days? Just to make the transition a little easier? Assuming you'll bring her back in at night to avoid dew/frost and potential pest activity. Seems like a good idea to me--the sun will probably help her ripen faster/better than the indoor lights.

Not sure of your latitude but in much of the country at this point the day is short enough and sun low enough in the sky that it's not like putting a seedling out in May or June where they can get scorched. Bet you will be just fine.

Why do you think everyone would assume that?
OP did not say he wants to move the plant for legality reasons. He just asked if it's OK to move the plant.

I appreciate the input and time takin here. She is outside starting week 8, consistent 9 week finisher) so I should be able to conclude any differences. I would like to say that I believe Cycad was attempting to help in his way. Really depends on the lens we view our existence thru. TC

I personally don’t see any point in moving a plant outdoors for 1 week. Cons definitely outweigh the pros imo

It should be at least 2 weeks, if that matters. I started this thread to discuss the pros, cons etc. I am sure I am not the first to do it and I am curious about the results. This is also a known strain to me, grown before, so any differences should be easily picked up. What do you suggest may adversely effect the quality of finish? Thank you TC
