Thanks for the feedback guys, I love being able to show this off to somebody cuz nobody else even knows about it!

Yeah yeah the leaves look shitty, but I aint lookin at the leaves;)

...Leaves got damaged cuz I fucked up the pH for like two weeks straight I guess, but I fixed the problem. Only thing is, the leaves aren't repairable after that sorta problem. Oh well! Only set me back a couple weeks and may have lowered the yeild, slightly. Anyways, by the looks of it now, I'm very pleased thus far:)

Topped off both plants with pH'd water.

Indica is getting changed to straight pH'd water tonight.

Sativa is producing SOO many resin glands, it'll make you salivate. Especially since its this early in development and has a long way to go.

Pics will be up tonight after I feed the girls. Any picture preferences? ;)

Good luck Motiff, and a lot of good info in this thread, but may I ask a quick question?

Someone said in this thread and I quote:

"Also IMHO you cannot make them grow any shorter by topping them a lot, when you do side branches will quickly resume the tall growth, I topped mine 3 to 4 times to no effect, just got more buds tho, which is good but it didn't effect how tall they got."

Seriously is the above true? I was hoping I could limit the height with topping/supercropping.
What can I expect then from my sativas in the picture here height wise (ak47/atf) they are still in veg, haven't even started 12/12 yet and can't because I'm waiting for the flower room to open up.

When you topp a plant..you are taking the top NEW growth off..you can keep it damn near as short as you want as long as you keep topping ..I hope you got alot of headroom in the flower room cause..they gonna grow doulbe that size when switch em to 12/12:weed:!

:weed: yup thanks

15' tall plus vaulted ceiling waiting...

Waiting and waiting and waiting on the gas man to get here and install a new line in that room and can't start them stinking in flower anywhere else in the house either.

I've been waiting two or three weeks more than expected and then they grew faster than expected as well.

I wanted crazy big trees with a pound ea but hadn't really planned on being this crazy with the height.

Looks like I need to start training them and keeping them tied down or something so they don't take the roof off. :)

15' will do .:-P

But remember a big tree like that isnt any better than a small one if you dont have the proper lighting/reflection to penetrate to the lower buds:leaf:
Like HID lighting works great to penetrate but if you using cfls or flouros you gonna need a whole bunch of them,..

Lookin good though man gotta say that!:weed:

Those buds of yours look real dense here Mo'
They must be hard as rocks.
Should end up with quite a good yield off those indy's hey?

Those nuggets are filling in nicely. Some fine looking tatas! :bigjoint:
YUP! Must be good genetics..

I think i had about a 2 week delay from the damage and repair time taken for the pH being way off. All strains grow differently so i wouldnt always cmpare to others if your doing everything right, youll get the best possible results as long as its good genetics.

Bro those trees are fucking GINORMOUS!! 1.) i think you waited too long to top it, no? 2.) Those are gonna triple in size as soon as you switch 12/12. Be sure you have lots of free space around each plant, cuz your going to have to tie down all the branches to parallel with the ground, and force them to grow sideways. You might need to re-tie them 3-4x during the stretch phase.

Yeah mammath, they are very dense indeed and hard as can be. They just seemed to blow up the past 2 weeks:shock::shock::shock:

How much you thinkin itll yeild? i was thinking around 1.5 oz's dry (defenitely hoping for more than that tho:weed:)

******************

I noticed the trichs are actually petty much all cloudy, so i mighta jumped on the flush a week early... Should i let it continue to grow on just pH'd water until all the fan leaves turn yellow and fall off? Will the trichs turn more amber when feeding just pH'd water?

HaH! Fan leaves yellow! Your fan leaves suck the biggy... and who gives a flyin f*ck about them.
I'd thought you'd given up on those babies a while back

Yield shmield... You got good bud, that's all dat matters.

All cloudy, on an indy, is my kinda smoke.

Finish them... dry.. cure... accordingly.

Good job mate ;)

I thought that was a natural way of the plant saying it used up all the remaining bits of nutes left in the roots and leaves? :/

Yeah and I don't care for the fan leaves, but I would like to try making some hash with the trimmings.. Any useful (yet very ez and foolproof) links to making hashish? Or anything showing me what to do with my fan leaves and trimmings... ?

I've topped them all along and supercropped a couple times but this is what I ended up with, should have topped more, oh well I tie them up or down or lay them down or something.

I have no shortage of lights here, 16 1kw halides and hps's, 7 400w halides, 3 250w halides, 2 150w hps's and plenty of flouro's now. Not that I ever intend to use all that at once really, most but not all. I got carried away and bought a pallet of lights off ebay and more locally but I can't run them all because I ran out of cash for the rest of the stuff I needed like a monster a/c and stuff to turn my dirt bucket in bucket system into a dwc or other setup. (not sure what would work best for massive indoor plants even.) My desire is to turn my garage which is huge and super tall inside into something really impressive.

Originally I thought krusty buckets/freedom buckets whatever you want to call them or DWC or coco or just ebb and flow in lava. Still unsure given all the pluses and minuses they each have.
I haven't seen anything yield more on big plants than krusty buckets yet though.

What brought me into your thread was looking at DWC trying to see the best way to set those up and how to run them and how they do.

And mine aren't massive really, this is massive:

I was just originally only going for a garage full of 6 of these babies vegged whatever it took to fill the whole garage with just 6 plants:

What are your thoughts on how you like DWC and where is the best info on them or any tricks or limitations I should be aware of with it?

It doesn't matter if your experience is with small plants or medium or what, should be all the same right aside from size.

yeah those are massive Lol like a fucking cage of sativa monsters...

your prolly referring to hempy buckets, check out my buddy Someguy's thread, he kinda explained it a lil bit in his thread:

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/192292-someguys-perpetual-parabolic-scrog-cabinet-19.html

Other than that, any DWC question can be answered by roseman:hug:

thanks for stopping by bro, stick around and lemme know what you figure out...

OK I see what you were saying.
Because your using DWC you probably only need to run PH water for a few days to finish.
It's the soil fellaz that need to flush for a week or so because soil holds onto nute salts the most.
If you think you've started your PH water to early just start using nutes again until you have the ambers you want.
It won't hurry the plant up any more using just water.

As for hash go to youtube. Many a good hash making method over there.

got to thinking about the nanners you spoke of in your thread mammath, and remembered i did pick one off the indy. so i got nervous and chopped her tonight:joint::hump:

Check it out fellaz.::. Only took me about 4 hours to trim it all:cuss:

taste testing a nug tomorrow before work :joint::mrgreen: How much you think the dry weight will be??

What should i do with the fan leaves and trimmings? and most importantly.........HOW DO THE BUDS LOOK??? (without them nasty leaves!) Kinda looks almost like an afghani strain, wadya think guys?

You can see i didnt go up enough nodes (i recommend about 7-8 nodes from bottom UP) when i did the lollipopping.

oh shit the fucking sun is now up, fucking 7a.m. now WOW...im going to bed, talk to you guys tomorrow!

I hate seeing bud on foil.
Makes me think of oven baked cookies...

Dry them slowly and surely....

Give those cuts some air damn it!
Foil don't breath.
Paper towels good if ya gonna lay those puppies flat.

Stop asking what we think too concerning yield etc....

Are you happy?
That's all that matters ;)
