Here are today's pictures. I have been trimming off all the fan leaves to let as much light as possible on the lower buds. More of the colas are getting denser. I flushed with GH FloraKleen today. In three days I will start cutting the buds that look ready. Its a big job for one person so I was thinking that only cutting what's ready will spread the job out.

Here are my next two batches of Mother's Finest. I am trying to make some big spears with these grows. One is in a GH Rainforest 66 and the other batch is in GH Waterfarms. These girls got smacked by spider mites and transplant shock. They had a rough start but have made a comeback. Check out the monster spear in the back.

Excellent. Those buds filled up nicely.

So, how long have those clones in the last picture been flowering? Couple of days? How long did you veg them for?

One thing I would suggest for this next batch is to foliar feed for the first couple of weeks of flowering with some type of organic nutrient. I use Nitrozime mixed with Nature's Nectar and a wetting agent, and IMO it does make a difference... and it might reduce your flowering period a few days.

Can't wait for some harvest pics! :joint:

Those clones have been flowering for 6 days. They went straight to flowering with no veg. Here are pics from day 1 (transplant from clone box) and day 6. I am using the GH 3 part nutrients at the moment for transition around 1.0 EC concentration. Tomorrow I am switching to a light flowering solution using GH FloraNova Bloom and Liquid Kool Bloom. I am planning on an EC of 1.2 and then increasing 0.1 each week until 1.6.

I haven't experimented much with foliar feeding. I got some free Bcuzz from a vendor that I tried on my big bud, but I don't have enough grows under my belt to know if the foliar feeding makes much difference.

I have sprayed these girls lightly with some neem oil to prevent spider mites.

First-- Did you make those systems yourself? I noticed the buckets say home depot on em (i think).

Second -- How much did it cost you to make those?

Third -- Do you have a reservoir feeding those, or is it a single type thing with the nutrient water in the orange bucket?

Fourth - Do you allow it to drip constantly? or do u set it to drip for a certain amount of time for a certain amount of times per day. (or am I wrong about the whole thing and its not a drip system? if so, how often do u allow it to flood them and for how long?)

Fifth -- Do you start them off in that in rockwool as seeds?

sixth - How many gallons are the orange buckets, and how big are the meshed pots inside those buckets?

7 -- last one, what size of pump are u using to pump to those 4 ? (GPH)

umm... I think thats it for now, ill probably have more for u later lol.

Flowering is 50 to 70 days, but it looks like this one is definitely on the long side. I am hoping for 40g on the low side and 60g on the high side.

how long is the flowering period? and how much do you expect avg yeild per plant will be?

I added my responses below.

Got a few questions for you.

You can order the kit with all the drip lines for $15. Then I bought the 3 gal and 5 gal buckets and drilled the holes and assembled it myself.

Second -- How much did it cost you to make those?

Total cost is around $30 per container.

Third -- Do you have a reservoir feeding those, or is it a single type thing with the nutrient water in the orange bucket?

There is a res with a level controller. It is the standard one that GH makes.

At this stage when the plants are small and roots are still growing I have it running continuously. In a couple weeks I will shut off the drip at night.

These are cuttings that were rooted in a daisy cloner for two weeks. Then I put them in 4" rockwool cubes (soaked in 5.5 pH water per instructions) and put the rockwool into the 3 gal bucket with hydroton

5 gal ( I bought these from home depot because I screwed up the holes I drilled on the black ones). The top bucket is 3 gal.

There is no water pump only one big air pump with splitters. The air pushes into the water in the bottom bucket and forces nutrient up and out the drip ring.
