mother plants/cloning

hi im wondering if its ok to take alot of clones off one plant. my friend has a bush in a DWC bucket and want to take 50 clones off it still leaving shoots and keeping it as a mother , is this ok hes worried about stress , it a bush that stands almost 4ft with bucket. could prolly get over 100 clones off the one.thanks:bigjoint:

I try to have more mothers so I can be selective in my process, but I've seen pictures of some pretty bare looking moms and they survived just fine.

sweet ya me too but, but i understand y hes asking , thinks that taking to many may stress and cause hermies. any othere feedback would be great . thanks

u can take as many as you want but make sure you leave shoots so new ones grow.....the plant will just get bushier and more clones will be available in about 2 weeks with 24/7 light....gl

hey guys just a side question. when will clones start to grow vertically? mine have roots 3-4 inches long and are still the same height

lol . they will take off soon . but to help answer your question ppl will need more info on your grow i.e medium, lights ect . good luck . AND try making your own thread, im jokin :mrgreen:

I agree, they should take off very soon. Typically once my aero clones are about 2 weeks old and the roots are about 5-6 inches they begin to develop new growth.

i take 40 cuts off my moms in 7g pots every 2 weeks...
if the plant is as big as you say, then just take the cuts from the top of the plant (that way the bottoms will grow up and you'll have a bunch more tops in a few weeks!) and you will have no wories.
