Mother plant lighting?

How much light would be needed to keep a mother plant about 12 to 18 inches tall growing slowly?

low watt florecent lights. 2-4 two footers would probably work fine.

I've got a mother trying to keep low and slow. Light is a 2 tube 24" T5. I keep the temp cool also, 65. 3 months from clone and she's 18". Only had one feed of fert, just water in ffof. Lately growth is accelerating but so far healthy.

depends, if you want clones or just to "keep it alive". Quality clones need more light.

I personally love more light. You can bend, top, clone, net, twist etc to keep your canopy maintainable.

I have a pair of 2'-4bulb 6500k flos that seem to be working quite well.

I see no problem vegging under these, cheap and effective, 2 qualities that are fairly high on the must have list.
