"Mother Keeper" grow tent from HTG

Has anyone used this?

I know it's cheap but the one they sent me is literally impossible to put together without ripping dozens of giant holes in it. The tent is the wrong size for the frame.

Either I got a dud or this product is not something that should be sold by a reputable dealer. I'm assuming it's the former, not the latter, and am therefore wondering if anyone's had success with this model?

I followed the included instructions, which I think HTG put together themselves because the stock instructions are pretty close to pointless.

I did end up getting it hacked together with a few rips. I doubt I'd want to take it apart and put it back together again but I managed to tape them up to prevent light leaks. Several of the frame pieces seem like they're the wrong size. Most importantly, the support bars you're supposed to hang things from are way too short---about 3 inches too short. They can't reach from one end of the ceiling to the other, so they're not usable.

I have a Secret Jardin Darkroom that I use for flowering. It is excellent. This one is not. It'll work, but eventually I think I'll probably get a replacement from Secret Jardin again. Those guys make great tents.

If you followed the videos and still failed, it might be a dud. Send it back...

ive got two secret jardin tents and although there not the greatest products in the world there pretty good but that thing you got looks as cheap as fuck, bummer buddy> is it just supposed to be a budbox? if so unless ur gonna send it back maybe u should try sum sorta diy thing with the component parts. no point in lettin it go to waste...alternativly do what everyone else does and sell it on e bay....only joking, dont do that, just see if u can use the parts for sumthin worthwhile

They won't know the product is bad unless you tell them. You don't even have to ask for anything in return although I'd ask for anoter. You could at least call them and let them know you are displeased with their product.

I did let HTG know and they sent me a UPS return label. They've been great and their shipping is fast. Disappointed in the quality of this product, but it's not like they built it themselves. It's built by Growbright.

i have the XXl grow tent its like 6.5 ft tall 8.5 ft wide and 4.5 ft deep i put it up fine only had one lil tear and it was the flap that protects the zipper i love my tent works great

Hey i recently bought a tent from there too, The way you made it sound is kinda like the same problem i had. They had shipped me a duplicate set of the framing tubes so i was missing the 2nd proper set. This made everything to big for the tent to fit around which i noticed and called them about it didnt rip it or anything just saw it wasnt the correct size as i was building it. they sent me the correct set of bars. So check that with the new one ya get, Good luck. Sorry if thats a little confusing im pretty baked.

I just purchased the grow tent - mother keeper..after reading all of that i hope they send me the right pieces..lol anyways i still have till monday (late afternoon) until it get's delivered. I also went ahead and bought 12 Juicy fruit seeds and 12 Afghani seeds to test out m new grow tent counting down the day's!!!

just came in the mail today, putting it together, waiting on the seeds to test it out
