I am on a search for the most obviously sativa strain possible. What strain and bank is/has the stringiest, lightest sativa?

ACE or Cannabiogen have many landrace sativas. I have had good luck with them, why are you fixed on a airy sativa? Mold? If you want genuine sativas you can find some that are not airy. I have a Mangobiche from Cannabiogen which is pure Colombian sativa and not really airy at all. Their Punto Rojo is airy and genuine.

I am not sure if I understand the question... if you want a sativa dominant strain, just get a sativa and it will be a sativa, dominant doesnt even play into it.
i meant without too much interbreeding. i want 100% sativa, not 80% sativa, 20% indica, etc.

when you look at a seed bank, you might see 100% sativa, etc... But when you look at the pictures, the stringy-ness and obvious sativa qualities just arent there. Years ago, a friend of mine was cultivating, and he got some seeds from Mexico. The yellowish leaves were so stringy, you almost didnt recognize it as cannabis at all. It was truly beautiful.

I want to obtain a strain like that. Dominant certainly plays into it.

Try out an African strain like African Buzz (Malawi Gold) or Kwazulu.
The secret to African strains are cure times. You want to cure atleast 3 months, go 6 months if possible.

flying dutchmans original haze...very airy feathery buds...36wks flower....doesnt get much more sativa than that? mine didnt turn out so good in potency, was an inexperienced grower then so may have been my fault

If you want ancient/sativa landrace, untouched, south east asian genetis. i got a ton of seeds here without a doubt the buds are airy the flowering time is rediculously slow, it looks like a cluster of lower buds thats gona take awhile to trim, youd need to grow it outdoors because of the height i once chopped it in half and it bushed like crazy. Also the over pering smell of zesty mango. I wouldnt grow it again.

I only have the seeds. There are pics over at Icmag in the Cannabiogen section. 'Strain hunters' is a video of Greenhouse seeds Arjan in Colombia and shows Punto Rojo and Mangobiche plants.
21 minutes in they show Mangobiche.

At the moment I'm enjoying the friuts of my labour ..with some Big Buddha Super Sativa (included giving it a short 2-3 week cure). Smokes very much like the asian sativas (has that musky sweet vibe to it). Very surprised by how well they came out (considering I've been told that 'sativa' and 'auto' are not words that normally play well together :)
It's not a landrace, but it's an auto thats been designed to be very sativa dominent (90+ percent i think). And oddly, quick to flower for me under LED (i could have harvested 5 weeks into flower instead of the expected sativa 8!).
fyi - The genetics seem not to be as solid as others though (i got a couple that just did not look like the other SAS plants ..hinting maybe at a genetic stability thing). But the smoke is very cerebral with no couch lock (unless you have a serious Cheech and Chong smoking moment that is ;-) "toke it up man, toke it up! "
