Agreed. Containers sitting in runoff = no bueno.
It's only in that run off pan so I can test it right then. Normally after watering I'll let it fill and then immediately dump it. Other than that are the readings okay? Nothing too high or too low even with the other plant. I've never had an issue with this one (Betty) but some of the readings seemed a little lowWell one issue I see if the pots sitting in runoff. If you can raise the pots so the runoff goes into a drain pan and not sucked back up into the root zone. Other than that just keep them going to the finish line
They shouldn't sit in runoff at all. The idea is to flush out the old nutes, and replace with fresh. Sitting in that runoff just means they're mixing. That's what I was saying in the previous statement is they don't sit and run off at all. Like I will water them and within 5 minutes drain all of the runoff out. Is even that too much? They shouldn't sit in runoff at all. The idea is to flush out the old nutes, and replace with fresh. Sitting in that runoff just means they're mixing. Get a pot elevator.
If you can just look at the drivers or the model and post them we could tell you what wattage they are most likely. It’s an LED scam if ya ask me they claim it’s a 1000w when they are only a 100w but they say they will replace a 1000w HPS it’s all hype and BS.
Imo yes it is.That's what I was saying in the previous statement is they don't sit and run off at all. Like I will water them and within 5 minutes drain all of the runoff out. Is even that too much?
Yea you don’t want them sitting in the runoff for even a second In my opinion. You can use anything that’s not absorbing to stick under the pots that will elevate them above the drain pan and let all that runoff come out the bottom into the drain tray. That way the pots have no chance of sucking any back in or mixing. It’s probably not really hurting anything too bad but remove anything that could cause an issue. Not sure what the 1800 is from on your meter? Is that what you’re putting in for feed? And getting 846 for the runoff? That's what I was saying in the previous statement is they don't sit and run off at all. Like I will water them and within 5 minutes drain all of the runoff out. Get a pot elevator. It's my first time doing a tent grow so I was trying to figure out the drainage. Before this I had them in a massive whirlpool bathtub and they would just drain out the bottom drain but a lot of dirt and soil going down your main bathtub drain isn't ideal.
Okay got you. I actually just went to Lowe's and found some risers that will work perfect! Thanks for the tip. And no I tried to describe it in the pictures better but I guess it didn't work out The high number... The 1500 and 2000... Is my EC reading. The 850 and 1,000 is my PPmYea you don’t want them sitting in the runoff for even a second In my opinion.
