Most racy sativa?

Well the weird thing about this tent is that my temps are super high, like in the low 90’s. Plus they loved the humidity and had to keep my exhaust off to keep that in the mid/upper 70’s. If I had my spider farmer exhaust on even a 1 setting, dropped my rh% into the low 30’s. Leaves would feel almost brittle to touch in just a matter of a few hours. Found myself watering them every 2 days, and not my usual 3 days, but growth was consistent/vigorous. They also really liked their cal/mag for watering too. Should be interesting to see how the tent will go with flowering happening now, cause I wanna get the temps down just a bit come mid flowering or sooner
Why do you use additional calmag where it's already in Mega Crop? I used to think I needed more calmag with coco & led lights but once I started dialing in pH at every watering I stopped using stand alone calmag products. I only use calcium ferts to buffer my coco when I 1st use it.

I don’t use cal/mag either. I use crab meal and lime

Crab meal is good stuff. I need to buy a new box since I'm switching back to organics. I like kind of a seafood blend: fish, crab & kelp meal + some neem meal. It's funny most of the hybrids & indicas I grow are easy on the ferts. While my sativas are the nute hogs in flower mainly wanting nitrogen, especially during the stretch. Harder to keep a plant green at 101-11wk then start the fade.

I decided to buy another 30 seeds of Golden Tiger regs, I think I'm going to leave updates on this thread in case people are curious. Should be in my hands in about 2 weeks.

I will be looking for a rotting meat phenotype, if I find one I will grow some Maruf Kandahar from "Indian Landrace Exchange" to breed the rotting funk of the Afghan Into the Golden Tiger in hopes of producing something rancid/rotten with extreme hybrid vigor and potency. I want something that makes my neighbors wonder if I'm Ed Gein.
If you're looking for rotten meat, Terp Fi3nd has a meatball line that apparently smells and tastes like funky rancid meat.

I had some leaf health issues early on in its growth. Went online and read elsewhere that Malawi loves cal/mag, especially under LEDs during veg. Also was suggested to start feeding it some PK booster in veg as well. So I started feeding extra cal/mag, bud explosion (just a tiny pinch in my 2G watering can) along with my mega crop every feeding. Plant health improved and my growth has been great too.

If its working for you that's cool. I wasnt a fan of Mega Crop myself mainly due to it clumping up but found it good enough as is. What is the PK booster supposed to do in veg, I've never heard that before. Also what do you pH at? I wouldn't worry about extra calcium unless in 100% coco coir. I will say I veg under T5's though & flower with LEDs mainly bc my LEDs are 3000k spectrum.

I had been using Advance Nutrients PH Balance line before I discovered MC. Yeah it clumps, but the stuff seems to work for my past 4 grows. I admit I have never PH balanced my grows either. I too technically am not in a soil grow with Pro Mix HP being like peat moss/bog. I have them under my HLG 550W 3500k QB and just runs really hot. My other tent has both a marshydro sp250 and a budget led 500w infinity board running significantly cooler. As for the PK booster in veg, I believe they said it would help benefit the Malawi later in flowering because of its longer stretch/flowering time. So it might just befit the genetics for the rich African earth that they originally resided from.

I still have big mason jar of Mega Crop, I should do a side by side comparison. Yeah with soiless mediums I will ph my water from now on. I got an Apera ph meter for reasonable price & I love it. I use citric acid crystals for ph down & Protek Silica if I need to ph up. Can just eyeball everything now & it be spot on but I still check.

That's interesting about the PK boost in veg, still seems unnecessary though. Only nute I know that stops stretch is Bushmaster. Train the plant & flip early like you have already done is all you can do imo to control stretch naturally. For quicker flower I start everything at 11/13 light schedule.

Apera ph meter 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Not my best grow, every time I try to lighten up my soil I have to deficiencies. I think I’ve got it under control.... they don’t look at but I think I got it. Ending week 6, stripped and ready to flip next weekend. The Malawi gold have big stems and big secondary branches. I like how it’s growing up but I’ve done much better if I could’ve gotten on top of the Deficiencies earlier. The other plants are granddaddy purple and Tropicana cookies the purple Fino and G 13

So I’m 11 days into flowering for my Malawi/Lennon tent (with this pic, starting day 12 today, lights still off) and they didn’t lie about the stretch for Malawi. I’ve tucked branches a couple times already but they keep growing upwards.

My Malawi Gold that I vegged for 7 weeks looks similar to these but the ones that I vegged for only 4 are little bushes . They love the heat, high 70’s-to mid 80’s
