Most psychedelic strain

I'd take a bag of the real Columbian Gold from back in the day over any Pineapple Cookie Crunch Banana Monkey Purple Cake that's being hyped up today and sold for the amazing price of $30 a seed. Only available if you're one of the lucky ones to get in on the drop or some other stupidly pathetic nonsense that seems to be the norm these days. The seeds have to be spendy because if they're not then they can't be fire.

Most of today's stuff has just one thing. High THC. Lots of desirable characteristics have gotten lost with all these polyhybrids. Hybrids crossed with other hybrids crossed with other hybrids etc... All with one goal. High THC and tastes like berries or something. Boring.

Might as well take Monkey Spanked Chocolate Sundae and cross it with Red Devil Skittles Crunch and call it Red Monkey Devil Chocolate Skittles. Or just write a bunch of words on pieces of paper and toss them in a hat, cross any strain you want, pull out the pieces of paper from the hat to name it.

I get more of a psychedelic high from traditional hash from a Sativa than I do dabs. So I agree on the Sativa part, but with old school hash. A tolerance break would help too but we all know those are impossible.

I don't even know if you can get real sativa's anymore. I have finally went through all my seed I started saving back in 1975. My last real plant was this wonderfully craze lady named Columbian Gold. She would make you see colors and tracers while warping time and space. I really do miss the Asian, Central and South American sativas something awful. I have a Gorilla 2x4 tent coming in with all the fixings. It's first grow is going to be Alaskan Thunder Fuck under a 350R and UVA-30 XL. Back in the day nobody described sativas as energetic and creative. It was more like couch lock watching light waves moving through you space with a dose of hearing electricity.

I wonder if mindset plays a role. Back in the day getting high and listening to music and having deep revelations with friends was the point of getting high. Now it’s a compliment to productivity, part of the regular day, looking at the phone, taking care of stuff, etc. The integration of cannabis into the mainstream life has changed our relationship with the herb from an experience/odyssey more toward a regular daily input, like coffee. No doubt strains play a role, but how often are we sitting in a circle passing a bowl or joint around, how often are we providing ourselves the space to trip out? These phones are short circuiting our highs, and instagram is making the look of the weed more important than anything else, so that doesn’t help either

You can still get real sativas. There are several outfits that have them. ACE, RSC, TLT, to name a few. Most growers want a fast flowering, high THC strain and while many of the sativas do have high THC levels they are not known for being fast flowering so many don't grow them. I have no problem with a 16 week flowering time as the end result is worth it to me. I have nothing but real sativas in my flowering tent right now.

I would often get a strobe light effect. No weed does that anymore. So much has been lost to most, but hey we have 30% THC and lab testing...

I really wish I didn’t fuck up my last tent grow because I would of had potential with my Lennon(Pyramid Seeds) Malawi(Ace Seeds) Crystal M.E.T.H.(Dr. Underground) and Sour D(BlimBurn) I did get some of the Lennon early and I really liked what I had with a good energetic head buzz. Still to this date my fav is a Cinderella 99 and I really wish I knew who made it. It was a freebie my cousin got from a friend and my gawd that was some psychedelic trippy pass me the chocolate shit. We watched my Avengers: Infinity War 3D copy on my projector and then followed up with Fantasia 2000. The fucking colours were just popping and the 3D image seem to have a little more depth to it too. It was for sure as hell not the Female Seeds C99, and will try Canuk seeds next.

although I’m hoping for much better trippy weed results with my latest grow (just 1.5 weeks in) Trying my hands at growing Ace Seeds Golden Tiger and Killer A5 Haze

Do you have any pics of your Killer A5 Haze? I have one that's 26 days in and it doesn't really look like a Haze to me. Hardly any stretch, and leaves just don't have that "haze" look to them. I have a couple of Golden Tiger started but they're only a week old.

i just bought their killer queen, in the process of eventually recreating the original Kryptonite. Bros Grimm created Cindy 99 from what i know. They have it for sale at that link.

The Killer A5 Haze is a hybrid. You probably have a Northern Lights leaning pheno.

Damn this thread blew up today. Hearing a lot of people being up Malawi/Thai strains from Ace seeds so I’ll have to check those out.

Today is day 2 of a 5 day tolerance break. Come Friday night I’m gonna take my first homemade dab ever after 5 sober days. Hopefully I blast off and get a flashback from my college days when I used to take a tab or two every weekend

Yeah I miss going on adventures just to find a good place to toke. And trying to keep it together in public when everyone could smell it coming off of you like a roadkill skunk.
It definitely had a more psyche-magical effect back then

Durban Thai sativa is pretty psychedelic and heady...ever since shrooming 3-4 times a year, all of my highs have had psychedelic effects in one way or another
Second the Durban Thai!
the c99 x Durban Thai from brothers Grimm has always had a very heady, rush of a high every time I’ve popped them.
The big bong hit and shut your eyes type weed. One of my all time favourites.

they're just babies(Day 10) right now, but GT is growing pretty fast. Hopefully top it and start some training come next week

Thanks, I just found a write up that explains the four phenotypes. This seed was "gifted" to me. I think he bought 5 seeds and sent one to me to try. He also sent me 5 Golden Tigers. I started two of those a week or so ago. I've been wanting to try Ace seeds for awhile now but until recently they were pretty hard to get where I live. I thought the Golden Tiger were fem seeds also, but found out they are the regulars, so I should have maybe started all 5 of them. Not too late I reckon.

Grew couple of ACE golden tigers, but they weren't trippy at all. I sampled some Malawi lowers that I removed after 70 days of 12/12, nice buzz, but not really trippy either. Hopefully they turn trippier after they're ripe and ready for harvest or possibly with a long cure. Usually curing makes the high more mellow though.
