check out LST in the FAQ's I do it to all my plants and it makes them soo much bushier and yield soo much more. and its fun. Lemme know if you have anymore questions. Unless its about safety, then obviously ask Sparky the fire dog there "Setups like this should be unacceptable!
Greensister sounds like a safety freak who wears a helmet to bed. But his advice is legit.
Put your plants on the ground and simply adjust the light height, use some sort of wire to hang it or put them on a power bar on the side. Ya with CFL's fire isn't that big of a concern but cardboard is a no-no. If anything use bricks or plastic buckets. Peace, and keep at it, dont listen to haters.

Buy a bracket then use a power drill to drill it in place, or you can use one of those hooks that screw. You can screw it to the top of the cab and wrap your cord on it.

Also SCROG is a sort of LST but instead you use a screen to make your plant grow sideways instead of tying it down to your pots. It will also give you the most yeild considering your height restriction on your cab.

Seriously. I am a stickler for common sense and basic education. I see so much of it lacking everywhere. How could someone in this day and age not know basic electrical safety? Just flat out not know.
It goes beyond that. Most of the population is stupid and dont care or know they are and that is the single biggest reason why there are so many problems in this world today. The major contributing factor is because people are allowed to be stupid and even rewarded for it.
You are all stoners, standing up for what you believe in by growing. Well, im a human being and im standing up for what i believe in by pointing out that ingorance and stupidity is not acceptable. Not when so much information is at our fingertips.
An ignorant person doesnt know. Thats ok. A stupid person wont know, thats not ok!

Then you never made it past 5th grade, didnt pay attention to anything that invovled electricity, or your school sucked so bad that they are manufacturing a population that is not equiped to participate in the modern world in a contributory way.
I dont expect stoners to be rocket scientists, but boy is it embarassing to a lot of us when the sterotype of a stupid and lazy pothead shows up. It does nothing but hurt our cause and perpetuate the bias against the use of this wonderful plant.

Geff sorry to do this to you but from now on this will be your best friend.
You gotta start doing some research buddy. Read, read, and read some more. We all went trough it and you will have to too if you want to learn more about growing. Sure we can hand you all the answer to any questions you may have, but in the end you'll find that it's better to just do your own research so you can better understand the ways of growing marijuana or any plant for that matter.
You can still come to me for any questions you may have, but for your own sake research first.
