Most efficient chip

Hi guys was wondering if some1 could help me out ive been growing with a gavita 1000 de for a few years now but the heat in summer is killing me and id also like to expand to a 4x8 space without uping me energy usage to much while elimating some of the heat. So my question is what is the most effient chip on the market. Im not worried about the inital cost as i would rather run alot more cobs at 25 to 30 watts and be as efficient as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank.

cree cxb3590 3500k 80CRI @ 700ma = 64% eff

I would go 3000k Vero 29C . They beat the 3590s at all drive currents as far as I know. Cxb3590s are equal to citizen 1818. New gen 6 citizens will be out in a month and they will be ahead of the 3590 by 5-6% and half price.

Something around the mid 60 or 70s if possible is what im aiming. 3500 or 4000k i know the cooler temperatures will be more effiecient but i am looking to flower under it.

Then what @Stephenj37826 said, 3000k Vero 29. No reason to buy cxb3590 unless you feel like paying double and want slightly less efficiency.

i agree but OP wants the most efficient chip for flowering so wouldnt
a 70 CRI be the most efficient chip on the market?

They will finish slower and wieght won't be any better. I saw somewhere in the forum's a guy did a side by side with higher CCT and it took 2 extra weeks vs 3000k 80 I believe.

Very scientific research, 10/10 research paper of the year great sources very accurate. That 10 CRI difference is definitely the culprit. Every 10 CRI difference will take an extra 2 weeks flower so a HPS will take about 4 months longer to flower than a 90 CRI COB since the hps has a CRI of 20 this a very known growing fact, documented extensively from some guy on a forum.

To answer the OP's question:
70CRI = 70%eff
80CRI = 65% eff
90CRI = 60% eff
is that correct :confused:

Actually it is........ You see it's well accepted that far red shortens cycle time. This has been proven over and over in scientific studies........

Sorry, but that really is just wishful thinking. I found it's a few days difference at best, but with less yield and more leaves on the tops too, leading to more work manicuring. Also it makes the plants stretch, so make sure you have the height.
