Anybody else have get a bumper crop of Mosquitos this year? I've always had them, but this year is F'ing insane! With a fan and 40% deet spray I got chased off my patio last couple evenings.:wall:
Miserable little spawns of hell:finger:
Anybody had any REAL luck with yard products to keep them away? I did have a thermalcell and it did work (patio sized area)I just haven't replaced it yet.
Carry on fellow blood donors:bigjoint:

on the real, are you near standing water, like rutted out dirt roads or old tires around?things like that? they breed in water, stagnant water to be exact..old buckets ect left alone will become condos for them..if there are breeding places near your house, eliminate them..also,swallowing a whole clove of garlic or two will ward them off a little, eat em the night before, and warn your date the next night..:-D..youll smell a little manly...

ive also seen products that create co2 and attract them and trap them..you put them on the other side of the yard..or,give one to your neighbor..;-)

I have serious mosquito problems too. Two things i found work. Theres these cheap bands on ebay ytheyre really cheap and they last easily a week. I keep one on every limb whenver im outside. For the house those frequency emiters really do the job well. I hate shit that leaves smell around. Mosquitos are the fucking worst.

I live in Houston where mosquitos are as bad as anywhere. The weirdest thing is, we went camping last weekend and without using any bug spray or anything, we came home with one mosquito bite. Explain that?

I live in south Louisiana.
The mosquito is our state bird. I grow citronella and have the pots all around the sitting area. Seems to help.
