I prefer it to thin mints. Yes, it's a ridiculously slow vegger.

Due to the small, med user grow we have, any mistakes are felt for some time. We'd like to get the Thin Mints, or a cut of equal quality. Bud quality is strongly favored over other considerations, albeit a decent yield is also needed. Can you suggest which of the Harborside GSC cuts you've tried finishes with the best quality buds. If none are of sufficient quality, can you point us to a Bay Area dispensary with reputable GSC clones?

I'm sorry I can't. None of my favorite cuts of GSC came from dispensaries.

However I would like to say that I'm now testing MF's GSC and it appears to be super legit. I like it very much. I don't know if it will develop a thin mint flavor or not but I can tell you it appears to be very rich in trichome content, yields decent, and has good color. Not sure if harborside carries MF or not, but elemental wellness does. They however only seem to have it off and on.

P.S. We're old school (and not getting any younger) from the time of SE Asian flower tops, Columbian and Acapulco Gold and Panama Red, so commercial quality just doesn't cut it for personal/med use stash.

We were under the impression that this GSC cut was from MO, before DH had them available. Perhaps the information got "lost in translation" and the clone was from DH. Sometimes the stake labels with Harborside clones are not as clear as might be hoped. :)

The plant in question is now 62 days into flowering and purpling as it ripens, so the quality should be evident soon.

I misread your post. MO's is a whole different ballgame. Still not sure how I feel about Mo's. I love the yield, the bag appeal, and the flavor, didn't like the potency. But I have no flowered it inside yet so I don't really know.

but you can still get it at cloneville the thin mint lolz i can still make it go without seed you just have to be more experienced i myself act like RAMBO i been to toys r us and bout the supper squirter and load my amo with reverse lolz hahahahahah im fucken kidding no realy she is unstable lolz but i been doing it long enough to pull it off.. but go to cloneville and calvin will hook you up beware of his hot girls behind the counter man they think you want their fucken panties and realy you might not want them but they act like dikes straight bitches lolz the only shop that made me drop my gum was euclid medical in O.C. man straight up homie beware she HOT and man i never would have left with clones full of mights but dam i was just in shock.... good luck

go to clone ville they got one that doesnt herm i just got this one from a seed to plant its from the circle of the maker from what i hear i cant prove it but if you look at the gsc in palmsprings form a few moths back man that was me tearing this valley a fucken gaping hole you should have read the review ;) on weedmaps lolz even jason at weedmaps toked and was loven it..

Im not worried if its the real cut nor fake cut im just trying to grow some out for myself and see if i like her as a strain u know. Its all persona use anyway im not in it for the money aspect. Only the saving money aspect . Thanks man for the info im gonna look up the thread. Idk about cloneville ive hit them up before. Ended up staying with my friend i know. Im just trying to grow something different he only has fire og and purple kush and a whiteurklexfireog i guess? He said fire og crossed with urkle but thats all the strains i can get my hands on as of now that is not from a dispensary. All the ones around me are shut down . But on to read that thread u got thump peace

Thanks for the update. I'll be sure to relay some impressions post-harvest. It is looking as if it will finish right near 70 days, so the just-dried should be ready for uncured trials in about two weeks.

We'll likely try to get down to elemental wellness and check out the MF GSC. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Here's my "GSC" from Harborside, two days into flush, I don't know who's cut it is, (Probably MO's but they sold them to me from a QB Tray (just to add to confusion), I their love Durban Poison and Red Diesel), but I snipped a few lower flowers last week and then compared with HS's "the cookies" and BPG's "All Star Cookies", call me bias but I liked this stuff best!

Thanks Grandpapy for the response.

Ours is topped and trained to six branches, with growth below about 16" from the top of the remaining branches trimmed off early, so the overall appearance is different. The bud density along the branches and the bud form in your posted photo does, however, look quite similar to our example, now 65 days into flowering and 16 days into flushing. I'm getting a familiar sickly sweet scent from the buds instead of "thin mint" or another "exotic" scent. It also is purpling as it ripens, but the low temps recently may have helped speed that effect.

BTW the most recent post of a price for SCM GSC at Harborside is $20 (1-2-13).

P.S. those hand-marked plastic tab labels from HHC have been an occasional source of some confusion.

Any one know which is the real thin mint cut? Scm, dhn or mo?

i'm growing MO's platinum right now, Flowers didn't show until like day 15. The plant is small, not vigorous at all. I wouldn't grow it unless you vegg for a long time. If you're growing for profit i wouldn't try it. I do however like Mo's Grand Tahoe Og. Its only at day 28 in flower and its doing very well. 9 plants under a 1k light and the yield should be 1.5-2.0 Lbs on one light. If so, I will def grow it a few more times.
I am also growing Grand platinum OG from MO. It doesn't look like its going to produce hard but it is def. a good lookin strain so far.
