I couldn't vote. No snow, just very cold. Plenty of snow 60 miles north of here. I do not live someplace awesome. :-(

I wouldnt call it snow, anymore.

Ice, its all just ice. Everything is frozen. Seriously, fuck this shit. Staying home today, not making the drive to the shop as the roads are just terribel, gonna let the help run the show today.

I know we have some Swiss Miss around here.......

The fun I had the other day.

That one day sure felt nice, but we will pay for it all year. These grain trucks spun out going up a hill. The road was too icy, so I had to have another tractor with a loader come and dig out the ditch. We then hooked both tractors together, drug the semi into the ditch and up the hill. doesn't sound hard, but was about 5 hours worth of work. There was the one in the picture, which if you look close, you can see a second trailer jacked knifed behind him. And the picture of the truck with the tow strap was part way up the hill, with both of his trailers jack knifed. Can't tell you how many times we all fell down that day, but I hurt for a week after.
2014-01-09 15.05.56.jpg If you look, you can see the road is solid ice under the snow. Thankfully, this day was about 0, so it sucked, but not as bad as it could have.
