Monster cropped clones and branching

First time with monster cropped clones here. On normal plants I top and fim to encourage side branching. Oueston is, on these with an alternating inter-nodal pattern, how do I achieve the same effect as on my "normal" plants?

Pick your node and snip. She wants to grow and if she is stopped one way, she'll grow in another. Haven't monster cropped in a while, I've found that if you veg and train her properly yields are similar. Personally, I'd rather use the time it takes to revert to veg to just get her going properly. Now if it's the only way to save the genetics, that's the only reason I monster crop any more. I really try to pull clones about a week before the flip, saves 4-6 weeks of revegging.
