oh yeah lol, I had a retarded one when I first started this grow , so it got yanked and this one is still growing good..

Yeah, I haven't really had to deal with too many retarded plants. Altho I did start a thread about it in the Advanced Cultivation section of the forum.

Altho, it's hard to see in the pic, but a sproutling sprouted strangely in my yard...and it grew it's first 4 leaves, it grew its first 2 ridged leaves, and just stopped, no further node growth is present or has continued.
On another note, my clones are doing well, only 1 has begun to slouch a bit, they're in my journal, 3 Female Master Kush Clones of Female Master Kush Clones And 1x Female Purp #1 Clone of a Purp #1 Seed. I only took 3 clones of the Kush cause I wanted to make sure at least 2 took, but i'm starting to think all 3 will with how well they still look. I left 1 cut up fan leave, connected at the bottom of the stem for her to cannibalize if she see's fit, and the energy can be drawn directly to he bottom of the stem. They were all taken from near the bottom, and i shaved off the bottom skin of the stem before dipping in rotting powder, as well as cut the stem @ 45 degree angle.

Your baby plant reminds me of my S1, since all my other kids were clones, she was the only one who looked like that, the others grew very differently.

Looking good pal. I found temp can affect stem color, lots of people claim its lack of p and can be that, but when I got my batch of Lil ladies they quickly developed purple red stems when my temps were all over the place during build in progress, and that cleared up to a point after stabilizing (some kept the coloring some lost it) , though it was likely the sum of the parts that caused it not any one thing. It seems I keep learning there must be balance to the force or your problems can go domino quick. Lol that and to remember I ain't a doctor yet, over analyzing and misreading symptoms are gonna happen.

You find you stress about the seedlings? I do lol but I just got two Lil seedlings through soil and first true leaves this weekend. Only 2 of 5 went, but that's ok, one was the best strain i have ever had and after seven years of smoking it, 3 viable appearing seeds has finally come around in a bag and popped. Lol this strain is the whole reason I started growing, is a custom breed by a genius grower who does not disclose lineage, does not sell cuttings and does not reveal any growing techniques; a group of us always worry every time we get it that this could be the last batch, sometimes it only is ready every month or so and limited release. So I'd say I'm pretty lucky. As he breeds his own it's a good chance it's not a herm as there was 3 seeds in zip and I've seen only 5 seeds before in past 7 years. Hoping it's a she but I'll cross it if not.

You've grown from seed a before, do u usually wait until you see nutrient deficiencies to start your seedlings on nutes or just wait a couple weeks before you feed? I'm very apprehensive as this seedling is like fricking gold, (the genetics are there, rest is up to me to dial in) so I am over worrying about it. It has already survived a very big whoops, I knocked er over and it landed four feet below on the floor, so I transplanted to a slightly larger cup and it has thrived since.lol I am being paranoid but I haven't grown from seed and dont want to starve er to death or burn er.

Lol I'm hps shopping this week because of this seedling that's how high I value it. Lol balls to the wall now.

Either that, ebay, or craigslist from someone in town here, there are some decent deals on some 1000 Watters, but I only need a 400. 1000 watts for about 150 bux and the 55,000 Lumen bulbs with enhanced spectrum, but thats on my local craigslist page.

Thanks bud appreciate the heads up on that site. I'm hoping my buddies aunt will give a better price or at least match those at her store. Craigslist has some comparable package deals, so hopefully she hooks me up for cheaper. I got thrips to deal with first tho.
Wish you were able to go hps MoNKo. Looks like at least the tops of my colas from my first grow will finish out under the cfls. I had an emergency topping last week and just smoked my first premature cure today. Holy hell... Was impressed enough that I am not worried about the potency now!! I smoke alot and was blasted for a couple hours !

Yes indeed. Anytime, I like to tell ppl about that site, they have a GREAT startup package for like 250. If I didn't already have most of that stuff, i'd get it, since they throw in a 400W HPS along with soil, nutes, pots, a MH converter bulb, since the ballast is magnetic, since I have to wait til I have a decent amount of money when I get my HPS, I should be able to a good magnetic switchable. Have to stick with 400W's tho, since the power bill might go up, and i'm growing as meds for a former veteran in my family with Fibro Myalga/Parkinsons, and severe tremors, pain, and memory loss....it's very hard to deal with, but cannabis helps a lot, doesn't like to admit it tho, I have to grow without any praise from the person i'm growing it for...back when they were young, they just used to use 80W Incandescent bulbs, so there's really no comprehension of why I need so much power and light to grow PROPERLY!!! Despite countless attempts to try to explain that what was grown by them back in the 80's was shitty mexican sativa's, and that i'm growing a powerful Indica, meaning it has special requirements if it's to come out the way we like it....

If you want some standard mexican sativa seeds, it wouldn't be hard to get some to you, but understand, it's genetics aren't potent at all, it's all weak nameless regs, mids, stress, or whatever name for it you have there. They're durable as hell, I had a female who grown under incandescent quite some time ago and she never hermied, BUT these are different genetics, from a friend with some regs. Depending on where you live, i'd be happy to send you some, but honestly...I doubt it would be worth your time to grow them...

If you can even find anyone with mids anymore, you get about 100 seeds per ounce, depending slightly on quality.

lol sorry bro, been busy.. Just cloned it today, don't have any pictures after the cloning but I took this picture I think 2 days ago. So that would make it 22 days from sprout in this picture. Will get some more pictures and put up soon.
