Moldy weed from not being airtight?

I've had marijuana for 2 weeks stored inside little plastic Easter eggs with a small hole in the bottom. I've always been a social smoker and always went in "chips" with friends, but now that I'm older I am keeping it myself and using it to relax. My point is that I'm not familiar with storing weed, or familiar with if it can go bad or not.

I have three different buds, two of them I broke apart and they turned dry and slightly whiter ( like powder colored) the other is left intact and is moist and more green.

Is this a sign of mold or is it normal that the marijuana gets dryer and lighter in color when broken apart from the rest of the bud?

I smoke out of a one hitter and last night after I took a pull I noticed that there was white substance left in the resin. Is this normal?

theyl get mouldy IF theyre airtight n damp.
..if its already dry youl be fine storing it.
not sure if you have mould, pics would help, but as youve already smoked one it should be fine, youd be very sick otherwise as smoking mould is dangerous.

I do know that when you store weed in sunlight, or two much heat, or with air exchange, it can take on a very bleached out look and have a white powdery look to it when crumbled and it isn't mold. This may be what is going on with yours but obviously I'm in no position to say for sure what you have.
