Moldy buds right before harvest, solutions?

Ended up spending a big chunk of my day to break down all the colas into small buds, inspected them all well with a 60x jewelers scope. Found no other signs of mold on other buds. I understand that the airflow and the temp fluctuations were the main reasons here apart from me not seing telltale signs.
Gonna be monitoring these heavily these new few days. Will try to dry them in around 45% RH and 15° temp room, would that be fine considering the fact that all the buds are separated now?
I'm not sure about curing, I thought about using an oversized jar and burping multiple times a day but are they inevitably gonna continue molding?

If the only moldy buds were the few that were physically touching, the rest may be ok as they weren't really in the same micro-environment hospitable to mold growth.

Cure normally

Yes, they were. It was the middle cola that i topped really late and had 4-5 buds all growing literally into eachother. Tossed all of that away carefully. The rest seems to be okay. I'll see if anything appears these next few days

Yeah just be on the lookout, I am always eyeballing my bud before i do anything with it every time I interact with it. You can see changes in the color and overall health of the bud even after harvest if it begins to mold.

I would personally dry it to a bit on the dryer side as a safeguard against mold, no moisture no mold. Mold sucks but I think you’re alright I was in your exact shoes last harvest.

Spores are everywhere, the concentrations needed to harm you are likely found only on the sporangia of the fungus itself.

Thank you for the great reply! I had nanners the previous harvest few weeks from the end and that had me f-ed up. But this, I was borderline ready to quit this.
Now I'm back to myself, the buds are drying all broken up I dont think in this way they are susceptible for the mold to continue growing even if the spores have spread, I suppose?
If they start rotting or moldinf again, what kind of symptoms should appear first (before seeing mold obviously? On the rotten buds I can see the trichomes or the surface around them is getting darkwr orangey / brownish. Is that it? Any way of noticing before that?

Well the smell of the bud will change as well as the taste if it begins to mold, even at a level you can’t see.
If they are nice and crispy then you have nothing to worry about post harvest, guys talk about dry weed not being good smoke, well I think it’s better smoke than moldy smoke.
Trust me, I’ve had mold on the plant and then didn’t have any after harvest, and I’ve also had it post harvest without it on the plant.

When it’s even a factor, better safe than sorry with your 2+ month investment.

Your buds look fine to me, just be mindful of taste.
