Mold!

So I've been working on setting up my grow room with a few impulse buys like.. seeds I should have thought about a little more.. and mylar which I should have gotten orca film. But everythings good up until I'm bleaching walls, windows, furniture when I discover mold... all along one wall at the bottom and top. Don't ask me how I didn't notice because I don't know. Anywho.. I full corner of my room is black, all along the baseboard is black, my tv stand in moldy, my cable wires are moldy, and I think my carpet is too. Plus when I thought it couldn't get any worse... theres mold on the outside of my house. Does anyone know what to do with this sort of situation?

There are companies that specialize in the removal and prevention of mold. It is a serious business. Look in your yellow pages or online. Plus ask around to contractors and hardware store employees. My little brother used to work for one of these companies when he was in high school and college. That shit can be really dangerous if left untreated and can ruin your house. Usually the removal is just a chemical cleanup and the prevention is having some type of humidity control equipment installed. Sometimes as cheap as a portable dehumidifier draining out of the house somewhere.

Sounds really progressed dude. I had mold in my closet one time from a pipe dripping water on the ceiling. It only got a little black and green but man did it cause me some respiratory problems for a long time. Get some help with that..

Yea we're looking into it.. as far as I can tell it's been there for quite a while.. just gone unnoticed due to furniture.. it's in the room that I sleep in however I've had no respiratory problems what so ever.

I would highly recommend a professional mold removal/disaster cleanup service...someone that specializes in water damage. The last thing you want to do is get those spores airborne trying to clean it yourself. Specialists will have the equipment/techniques to contain the spores...(hopefully) protecting you from future outbreaks. Good luck man...mold is no joke.

no its not a rental... we own. which in this situation.. sucks dick. but i hear mold removal isn't allllll that expensive. and its really confined to one wall.. where the gutters drainpipe is although my moms room has some too.. again where the drain spout is.
