Mold on Weed, Can I Smoke it?

I bought a bag recently and was going to split it with a friend. It wasn't very expensive and when I got it home I realized it was pretty much schwag and thought if I put a carrot in the bag over night it might plump it up a bit. So I did and it worked so I wrapped it up tight and was going to give it to my friend. When we opened it up there was a very light dustiness to it and I realized it must be mold. So my question is: Can we still smoke it? What could happen to us? Is there a way to re-dry it out or something?
(I have to admit we both smoked a little of it anyway, just to see what would happen, nothing unusual yet).

I don't know if it's mold, do you have pics?

If it is mold, don't smoke it. You can get pneumonia and other respiratory illnesses from smoking bud rot.

Oh shit..
It's definitely mold because it wasn't there when i put it in the bag and then it was when I took it out. I'm so pissed because it's alot of weed and i have a hard time getting it around here.

back in the old days of high school some kids would put orange peels in baggies which would moisten up the dry regular mex or columbo and it added an orangy fragrance and taste to it.i tried it a few times but decided it wasnt worth it and it was hard smoking joints of it as sometimes it was too moist to burn evenly.

It may not be aspergillus, and it may not affect you, but the longer you leave it, the worse it will get (and the more molds will invade). Dry it and smoke it before the molds 'kill off' all the THC in the weed.

if you want to die smoke the mold if not throw the weed away give it a cwe, and cook with it (cold water extraction)

When I was 16 years old, I put a quarter lb of wet leaf into a zip lock bag and hid it from my parents in a dark spot. It was middle of summer and hotter than hell. Opened it a few weeks later and it was like sludge. Moldy and horrible. Dried it and smoked it anyway with kids at school. tasted like shit but it made us laugh ourselves to tears, so bad that we couldnt even go back to class after lunch because we couldn't stop laughing. Smoked that whole qp with friends. It was dubbed laughing gas. Dont know anything about the medical side of it, but 30 years later, I'm just fine.

Throw away the buds with mold on them. The rest are fine.

Noone says you can eat moldy food. You can eat the parts without mold though.

I wouldn't try this. Might be some infectious particles still on the food from the mold that are unable to be seen. Probably best to just throw moldy shit out.

exactly, haha people are crazy.. smoking some whack ass shit.. why smoke at all? If you put wet bud in a sealed bag or jar that shit is going to mold if you don't air it out first or burp the hell out of it

I say fuck it. Smoke it all. Probably gonna hurt goin in. I doubt you are going to die. But it is possible. If your under 19...do it. Cause where I am from you get free medical until your 19.
