Mold? On live buds

I was getting ready to harvest a White Widow plant and noticed some white cottony looking areas in the bud. Is this mold? Could it be from an insect infestation? What should I do to get rid of it? This is an indoor grow in soil pots

That is insects just cut the part of the bud out that has it

The weed looks fuckin dank tho lol Did you chop it a tat to early?

If its insects is there anything I can do to protect my other plants. I have not seen any flys or bugs in the grow room.

use neem oil would you say that the fucked up part of the bud is spider weby

LOL its not insects thats a common mold you get when humidity and air flow are not right.Your area must have high humidity which is bad during flower as the you get molds and bud rot and if you dont have enough air movement you get the same thing. Best you can do now is cut or scrap that area and ikngest a bit of mold spores. Ideally take whats not moldy and chuck the rest or use it in the hash process. Definatly not insects

just considerate a sample of your weeds. dry it up and smoke it. thats what i do.

just be careful if you smoke it as smoking mold isnt such a good thing so get rid of as much as possible and try not to smoke alot of it
