Ah, that is confection for you. I hate to inform you but prevention is better than
cure; you have to learn from this experience and man up to the spores. For instance,
I got this little beastie curse sometime ago this past August (the latter part of the
month). I had her dappling sunlight and it rained and the temps created perfect conditions
for the "powdery mildew"...and they just magically appeared, situated up top, too.
So my solution has been the following.

* a surfacant -- used sticky
* streptomyces lydicus
* azamax
* ph UP

I have not seen since...very aggressive solution that works like a sledgehammer!
This creates an extremely hostile environment for pythium, fusarium, brown spots,
and leaf septoria. good luck!

Yea the plants are definetly getting worse. gotta chop everything asap. Theres some serious grey mold and tons of white on one of the bushes .

Has anyone tryed the h2o2 method with hydrogen peroxide???
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7jE7qzfgQs Heres a video about the h2o2 method. i think its guna make the buds taste like shit, but im contemplating trying it.

No problem broski! I hope you have made it to, or are approaching the *endzone* now.
Moreover, you can say goodbye to the mites, this solution really works for me and it is
all natural minus the phup. In the future look into TrueBlooms and shed a tear for
anything that lands on your plant for a hot warm meal! Good luck, yo!

I don't think peroxide will make the buds taste like anything different. Its just water and oxygen. I used it. That's only because I am still going to smoke the bud infected. Probably not the best idea but oh well, I'll probably be desperate this time next year. lol. I have had trouble with mold. I knew there would be trouble when every morning there was thick dew in the air. I've been watching so closely. I lost some bud but not much. It's raining here again today, buckets. I think I'm going to have to pull the last because I just pulled off a bud with white. It's Afghan Kush Landrace and isn't finished. The pistils are brown but there is no sign of amber sticky. I'm biting at the bit as we speak, debating on what to do. Damn, sky just opened up again.

Well let us know how that moldy bud tastes lol that's gross dude chuck that shit... I understand we all put so much time and efforts into our grows but sheesh smoking moldy bud is where I personally draw the line I don't care how hurting for bud I am. I guess different strokes for different folks though right.

Oh and I saw a video of Jorge Cervantes soaking buds in h2o2 right after harvest to get rid of some mold on infected buds. Seems like the way to do it in my opinion as long as the ratios are correct.

I had a plant with what I assume was Botrytis a couple of weeks ago. One of the bugs was so awful I chopped the whole thing. I did the h2o2 bath with the ratios prescribed in Jorge's video and hung some buds up to dry afterward. The next morning all of the buds were starting to turn furry. I *think* that while that might work for powdery mildew it's not the right route to take with actual mold and other fungi. I ended up putting it all in the wood stove and torching it.

Damn that sucks man, I hope you had more to harvest than just that one infected plant. Thanks for sharing your experience with the h2o2 bath though. Seems like it is just for PM after all . I would have done the same thing you did. I won't eat moldy food why the hell would I smoke moldy bud lol.

I eat moldy food, its called blue cheese. and when I get sick, I get a pill of orange mold to cure me. Im kidding guys.
