Molasses or Sucanat?

I have been using 1 Tbsp Slow-as Pure unsulphured blackstrap molasses along with 1/4 tsp table sugar as a bloom booster and its working great. I just found some Sucanat at the grocery store and I have heard that it works well as a bloom booster. Should I use it instead of molasses or along with the molasses in place of the sugar or should I just stick with the molasses?

Just curious. Are you adding it to gallon of water like a supplement? I guess there's a thread somewhere that talks about sweetness.

ya dont use normal sugar it doesnt break down the same and really has no use for a plant like molasses does, also beware with all the sugar you may attract bugs. when i grew in soil i used molasses all the time and its great shit but i had sugar ants coming from my garage into my grow room, but again dont use regular sugar.

Yes, I have been putting it in a gallon of water and oxygenating it for 24 hours. I give it to my ladies in weeks 5-8 of flowering twice a week along with their regular nutes (FoxFarm BigBloom and TigerBloom). I just figured the regular sugar was helping to feed the miccorhizae, and that the sucanat would break down better. I have an EXTENSIVE pest eradicaton program so not worried about the sweetness drawing bugs. (Blueberry is prone to mites anyways). Any other advice?
