Molasses for Bigger Buds, microbes and "PH"

I am not brand new to growing but still a Baby and make a few mistakes. I wasn't thinking and since I don't drive because of seizures, I walk and catch bus everywhere which is hardly anywhere unless it's necessities, for myself and plants! I moved and found my new water source at least I thought ( 5 gallons fill up $1.75 ) , I should of known better it say on front of machine " Alkaline , Minerals added " , I don't take it real serious, and my pH testing equipment is off ( not calibrated , I need buy more ) , I feed them this water for 1 week , Now I am spending days helping them survive fixing a real stupid mistake...So for the first time I am also adding molasses to my plants, and as I am PH'n down with Organic Apple Cider vinegar and knowing most Nutes I add bring PH up , so I am not adding Nutes to my already struggling plants, but I do want to add Molasses ( 1/2 Table Spoon per gallon) I decide to look this up " DOES MOLASSES RAISE PH?"" Not much info regarding PH , but I read one article that is a fact it lowers the PH !!!! then I read the average dumbass replies you see online , Pot plants don't eat the molasses only the the microbes in the Soil ?!?;'; I am thinking how stupid is this IDIOT ?????? If the Molasses affects PH in Water , it affects PH in soil , and yes your pot plants eventually eat it because I'm the long run it's affecting everything that they eventually consume !!!!. YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS , ITS NOT DISCUSSED MUCH AND SHOULD , I THINK. ALOHA

You can believe in cannabis broscience if you want and call people idiots all day long but it doesn't change the facts.

Here are more garden myths. I believe in actual science not some nonsense made up by a bunch of stoners.

molasses is ok once you are in flower but the statement about nutes raising your ph is not correct in my opinion my nutes lower my ph and i add ph up

I don't think it's truly Myth, we already know sugars help. But I do agree . SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO MORE SCIENCE STUDYING ON THIS AND OTHER STONER PHILOSOPHY , AND SHARE THE RESULTS PUBLICLY .

MO is just carbohydrates to feed bacteria. A lot of misinformation out there.

The postulated mechanism that convinces me to keep using mo is stress. Exposing the delicate fungal/endophytic system to a massive broad spectrum bacterial bloom stresses the plant and hastens it's death. It's like when we use a super potent frass feed at 2 weeks to go, and all the buggy hormones and proteins convince the plants immune system that the root zone is being colonized by insects. We stress out the plants, triggering the fade & increasing terpines and tannins etc.

Who's we? Molasses is good in cooking like marinades and barbecue's. That's about it. You can really use whatever fast sugar source to feed microbes in teas.

I posted a link from Linda Chalker-Scott. She has a pretty impressive background and a PhD in horticulture.

You should watch the interview @JustBlazin posted.

The reason I use Molasses is because it effects the soil not the plant. The plant benefits from whatever the molasses does to the soil. If I had a plant that was struggling I would reach for recharge for a more guaranteed result trying to bring the girls back to life. The plants do use carbs especially during flowering. I really think it comes down to what's the best type of carbs to add. Molasses seems to have come out a winner in how it breaks down and cost. You could also buy carbo-load or other name brand carb enhancers with fancy names if you prefer. It's also easy enough to clone a plant and grow two side by side adding molasses to one and none to the other and see for yourself if it makes a difference. To call someone an idiot after making a idiotic mistake is Ludacris! If you watered with the wrong type of water then just flush it. You should be investigating your problem a little more than just blaming the water. IF you can't drive, then carrying gallons of water on a bus is not the boogie! Keep it simple and go from the tap and let the water sit out of 24 hours to release chlorine. better yet invest in a Pur water filter $20.

Description
Recharge uses colonies of living soil bacteria and fungi to increase plant available nutrition. Expect a noticeable pop and jump in plant vigor within 48 hours. Guaranteed!

Most growers can dial their nutrient program back by about 25% while growing stronger plants with better quality & yields. It sounds too good to be true, but Recharge definitely grows amazing roots for huge fruits.

WHAT WILL RECHARGE DO TO pH?
It will raise your pH initally but as soon as it hits the soil the microbiology will start to make carbonic acid to help buffer and regulate the pH to an acceptable zone
WHAT NUTRIENT LINES WORK WITH RECHARGE?
Recharge works with and increases the efficiency of any nutrient line – traditional mineral-based or organic. Recharge holds more of your favorite nutrients in the soil so less is washed away and more is used by your plants.
TOO MUCH RECHARGE?
Nope, but you will likely experience diminishing returns if using more than 1 tbsp per gallon. Recharge at high application rates will not harm your plants. Recharge does not force-feed nutrition to your plants, it makes more nutrition available to your plants. Your plants will only take what they need from the soil. Recharge will not burn your plants at any concentration.
SHOULD RECHARGE BE USED WITH CHLORINATED, FILTERED, OR UNFILTERED WATER?
Recharge can be used with filtered or unfiltered water. Most chlorinated municipal water is not harmful to the microbes in Recharge

I don't work for recharge, but damn if I don't swear by it! It's not cheap in fact it's like $30 for a 8oz bag. if your lucky they will have the $3 packs so you can wake up your plants for under $10. My cheap ass forked over $40 for a 16oz bag, and believe me I'm a cheap, cheap, cheapskate.
