From what ive seen using it it adds a really sweet fruity smell and they look like they r covered in sugar and still have between 3-5 weeks left with my nuggets....I use it every other feed and water...And the last week will be just water and mollassas but i only use 1 tsp per gallon....Make sure u get BLACKSTRAP mollassas...GL

I just started using Molasses. I went to a place called Cash & Carry and they had a gallon of UnSulphured Molasses for $10 bucks. I use 2 tablespoons per gallon. I have heard many great things about increased yield and am excited about using it.

My understanding is carbohydrates in the molasses feed the beneficial microbes in the soil and help them to consume any extra nutrients hanging around. That delivers more nutrients in a more easily digestible form to the roots. I believe that is the standing theory. I've been looking in to it quite a bit lately and will be adding it to my next feeding.

I use 1TBSP per gallon weekly when flowering - up to 10 days prior to harvest. A great addition to the Super Soil recipe. All resin producing plants require carbohydrates which the molasses provides - read that on here somewhere. Also, only use unsulphured black strap molasses for the best results.
I have noticed improved smell, taste & yield since I began using it.

molasses ONLY helps to feed the organics in the soil. nothing else. it does not get absorbed into the flowers nor makes the flowers taste any better. I do a molasses feed 1x a week in veg and flower, as I run FFOF, along with my other feeding and watering regimen. 1 tablespoon per 1 gal of water.

Stop, and re-think your use of super-thrive... ST [studied by Uncle Ben-here] ST only works in the very young root complex of young seedlings or clones... ST feeds the roots, but UB found with continued use, in Bud, it actually stalled the bud process, and added time for the plant to finish...
Molasses, I only use in Bud, mix with my water, Haha, it doesn't hurt, does it help buds get bigger? IDK... like I said, it doesn't hurt, and GF loves mixing and using it... Not gonna argue with her about it....
